i agree with you in that theory however I’ve seen more than a few people swear it only takes somewhere between 5-10 seconds to get oil circulating through the engine so you don’t really need to wait that long. It’s not like my ‘72 Honda motorcycle that practically needs to idle for an hour before riding when it’s cold.

About 45 secs is all that’s needed. When it’s super cold maybe couple minutes max.

That's cool - looks like yours is one year older and has 100K more miles. I like seeing folks that drive as much or more than I do.
I own a horse farm out in the middle of nowhere and I'm always going somewhere.

My son has a 2002 TRD OR 4X4 ( my best friend bought it new and sold it to my son a couple of years ago) he now has around 270K. My friend put on a new timing belt/water pump and clutch before he sold it to my son. My son has replaced the alternator and just recently put on a rear drive shaft no issues other than that.

Yeah I’d love to see that too! 340K on a 3rd Gen is insane.

If you weren't too lazy you'd know the answer to both of these questions. You could just use the little arrows at the bottom right of any post to see that same user's previous postings in the thread.
