Hmm, like just scabby spots or looks perforated? I'll bet its like the other side, starts from the inside out. They make repair kits for when they get really bad.

Even though I have a welder, this is something I'm not willing to try on someone else's truck. Mine, sure, but there's too much liability in ripping the back part of someone else's truck apart.

I grew up in Los Angeles, went to public schools that were part of the Los Angeles Unified School District. Every year, the LAUSD has a special marching band that represents the entire school District in the Tournament of Roses Parade on New Year's Day (more commonly known as the "Rose Parade"). Any LAUSD High School student may audition for the "All City Band" as it is called. It averages about 250 students each year, or it did back in the '80's. I auditioned my senior year, and was accepted. I played Baritone Horn (looks like a small Tuba) in the January 1, 1985 Rose Parade. One of the highlights of my life!

    Official picture.jpg

The Rose Parade is approx 7 miles long. And it almost never has any delays, so every "unit" in the parade has to keep moving for that full distance. That's a hell of a chore, and so in order to make damn sure our band didn't have any problems with staying strong and able to keep playing at full capability for 7 full miles, we would all be bussed to Dodger Stadium every Saturday for 4 months prior to New Year's Day to spend all day marching around Dodger Stadium. Each lap is 1 1/4 miles. We would typically do 4 laps, then break for lunch, do 4 more laps, then go home.

The arrow is me, and you can see what a Baritone Horn looks like by the kid closest to the camera in my row.

I don't have pictures from the actual Parade I marched in, but some of the friends I made that year and I went back for the next couple years to watch the Parade and cheer on our friends in the '86 and '87 Parades in the All City Band.

I have shirts I wash myself and keep hidden from my wife, 'cuz they're "worn out rags." What does she know about comfortable clothes? o_O

    Revelation:
I was a River Pirate prior to enlisting in the Air Force. The story...
Senior Prom, my few close friends and I were the rednecks in a high school full of Alligator/button down collar/khaki wearing rich preppie kids. We spent maybe 15 mins at Prom before escaping to the River Boat Club, where my friend's family still had a membership despite having sold their boat a few years prior. Alledgedly there were copious amounts of alcohol on site, but I don't specifically recall. :notsure:
As the night waned, my best friend and I decided a midnight moonlight slalom waterskiing session would be a proper cap to the night's festivities. We found keys and skiis in the 3rd boat we "checked" in the harbor. I can still see the moonlight glistening in my slalom spray, it was beautiful.
    :101010: :)

We wondered all Summer if that one was gonna come back on us...it was no big secret that we went there from Prom.

All of this is alledgedly...I might have made it all up. ;)
