Mine are yellow. Absolutely amazing in snow and fog. Never had lights like these before.

Especially when you're friends with several people who work there and only live 20ish minutes away from the shop :D

    Which shop?

I plan on buying from Hotshot, but will shop around whenever it's time to order them.

I'm torn, White or Amber Ditch lights? Looking at the Diode Dynamics SSC2 Pro combo pattern.

    Diode Dynamics HQ

Great question for ditch lights, I would personally lean towards yellow but... Everyone's personal preference is might be a little different.

I was leaning towards white as I already have amber fogs. But figured I'd ask and get some input.

Honestly, since you're running the yellow dogs, go ahead and get white ditch lights

I have white ditch lights and frickin love them! Mine are Rigid D-SS (as recommended by @Shellshock ) in driving pattern. It's almost like having broad daylight for the first 50' or so. Perfect for trails at night.

Shitty picture, but it's the best representation of the intensity I have.

also need to aim the out to the sides a bit. But, even with the glare, they still kick total ass.

Not convinced on ditch lights... don't like the look. I also don't wheel much in the dark anymore.

theyre useful for lighting up the ditch (duh, I know) which is useful at high speed for animals/shit in the woods and useful at low speed for seeing around the trail/front corner of the vehicle.

I agree though, I actually kinda prefer the setups in the side mirror that a few people on tw have made.

I wasn't going to get any. But, then they started to sound useful, so I got them. I wouldn't go without them again.

Agreed, though; if you don't hit trails at night, they're mostly just jewelry.

Although, as @BEAR_KNIFE_FIGHT mentioned, they are good for seeing what's about to run out in front of you on the back-roads.

Ditch lights can be useful during winter too, when it's dark by 4:00pm.

I'll be adding some to the Taco in yellow/amber later this year probably - minimize reflection off snow, both falling and on the ground already.

i also don’t really wheel at night, but mine get a ton of use. After being out in New Mexico trying to navigate switchbacks in the dark, I needed to do something so I didn’t have that fun again

I’ve got mine hooked to my switch pro and triggered with my high beams. So anytime I use my high beams, I use them. They’ve saved me from hitting lots of deer out here in rural iowa. A majority of my driving these days is back gravel roads and there’s so many critters it’s ridiculous.
