Seriously, I found a 4Runner that I want to replace my doors with. The guy still wants $1,500 for it. No motor, no trans. No rear axle. He knows what he got!

Any value here? Guessing just the actuator since I imagine that would be the most likely part to fail. Trying to recoup a little coin. Off a 2002 4Runner. Figure I'd see what some of you parts experts have to say before I toss it on ebay and/or the Marketplace.

Yeah Whitelines practically slide in, not sure why people make a big fuss about them.

 

Oh FWIW, I didn't touch the transfer case yesterday. Hot as hell in the garage. Did knock it out this morning. Even the 'non-marring scrapers' didn't really do the job. Sure, they took out most of the FIPG but not all of it. Was trying to figure out what to use then it hit me, brass bore brushes or whatever they're called. Took care of the FIPG in a hot minute and didn't bother the tcase housing at all. Securing the inside of the tcase housing with a office garbage can liner took the most time.

Next up, install seals and put it back together.
