Can confirm. The ditch lights I ran on my Tundra showed many a deer around the bend. I had them on a remote so I would drive along with the remote in my hand and click them off when needed. Your setup sounds way nicer though.

Is having lights come on with your high beams a function of the switch pro or was that something you modified yourself?

It’s very nice. It also works with the auto high beams.

it’s controlled via a trigger wire to the switch pro. I’m sure you could do with without the switch pro and flip a relay but I already had the switch pro so

I know, just giving you shit. :boink:

I will say, however, that with the exception of a few occasions, I see more deer in Sullivan than I ever have up north. And, they seem extra stupid around here.

Woah, woah, woah! Are you telling me that you're using math to figure out your fuel economy, rather than just going by the computer readout??

I know :p I am!!! It seems to actually be pretty close but I know many times vehicles are pretty inaccurate so I always check myself. Just highway it gets like 21.5 which I'm totally happy with.

Yeah, on my 03, it was always high if you went by the computer. But, the newer ones seem to be a lot closer to accurate.

Did a thing today. Was a little concerned the springs might be too much without the weight but it seems fine to me

Can confirm on the H9 mod. Bought Philips 12361B1 H9 Standard Halogen Replacement Headlight Bulb, 1 Pack. Hit or miss if they come from China or Germany. Got lucky my first time with German ones. Trimmed the tab with a utility knife and plugged right in. Mega thread I got them from recommended Tungsram Platinum or GE +130s H11s too but both are harder to get. Plus Phillips seem to have longer life. At least they'll hold me over til I get the Diode Dynamics you kind souls talked me into :spending:

Listed for sale. We’ll see what happens. I’m not gonna give it away, especially with a 6+ month lead time on new ones.

Selling the Tacoma and going to just the tundra since I do like 10k miles a year now instead of 45k

What kind of set up do you have planned for the tundra? Ground tent? RTT?
