I’ve never cleaned one. When I was a kid I went feeschin with my granddad a lot. He would catch them and clean them. Then grandma fried’em up with some okra, beans and cornbread.

My bad!! There's mulberries on the outside edge of his blackberries, the blackberries are the thorny ones.

 

I've always wanted to try eating one and had someone was going to show me how to clean them. I think may even had one in a small swim pool for awhile to clean out ( something I was told is a good idea to do) but then the wife and kids set it free in the creek mile South of the house.

 

I've eaten raccoon, pigeons, groundhog....I aint eatin no turtle!! A man gotta have his limitations!

 

But it's someone told me there's 32 different flavors of meat in dair...from from chicken to rib-eye steaks.

Way, way back when I was prly like Feeschin Jr's age I had a couple pet turtle. I remember a clear plastic type of cage, round shape with a island and little tree in the middle. Then something happened and a fear of some disease they could carry or sumtin
