There is no code required orientation for a receptacle.

I have always installed ground up or ground left.
This reduces the odds of an object, a coin for example, bridging the hot and neutral in the event it was to fall and contact the prongs of a slightly dislodged cord.

The exception is a cord with an immediate turn (wall hugging) plug such as furnished on air conditioners or refrigerators. The receptacle should be installed so the cord hangs as intended.

Mine is also in the bathroom for the water pic height. Couldn’t plug in the hair dryer also.

Cat sitting there staring at it....this doesn't look
Thanks Rusty. This is pretty much the explanation I've gotten from a couple of different guys. They seem upside down to me as well and as I've changed several out, put them in right-side up:rofl:
I've vacuum about 4' x 5' area several times with the carpet cleaning machine. Thing with that water...something about path of least resistance so once it starts leaking it's going to keep coming in until it's done. Starting to dry out now.
I'll be sure and put those down spout back on from now on:anonymous:

I've got two lower ball-joint to put on the old 4runner. The driver side is a little more sloppy than passenger but both need replaced. Looks like should be easy after removing cotter- keys been in there 32 years.
    They might need drilled out.

I just cut them off flush with the nut and wind them out with the impact gun

First sunshine late this afternoon since Sunday. Mowed the yard and tossed wings on the grill!
