Keep PSI at 35 or lower it to 29?

We have a 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport Automatic Double Cab Long Box. The sticker on the door says cold tire pressure should be 29 pounds. When I took it in for its 25,000 mile maintenance, the dealership set the pressure at 35 pounds. What do folks think - keep it at 35 or lower it to 29?

    Thanks in advance!

29psi. The dealer techs just throw air in the tires and call it good, they don't check what the particular model they are servicing is supposed to be set at.

Yeah, that was the impression I got from speaking to the Service Manager.

Put it at 29 cold. Depending on what tire you're running, chances are that pressure will yield best possible treadwear.

Pretty sure the tires are the originals (I bought the truck used a few months ago and haven't changed them) and they match what's on the sticker size-wise.

They put the pressure up so it drives differently which many perceive as “better”. Moron techs trained by moron marketing people.

Go by the door tag if your taco is stock.

I think, but am not sure, that those are the stock tires on the sport. At the very least they are the same size and type. I would go with the door sticker.

I feel your pain brother. After chalk testing, I concluded that 30psi up front and 28psi in back was the ideal pressure for my tires. Every service appointment they end up being 38psi all around.

I've got my stock tires p245 75R16 at door sticker pressure (32psi) and am happy. 35psi was too bouncy/stiff on pavement, and atrocious on dirt roads.

Personal preference, I like to corner so I up the front psi.
I Also increase all 4 in rain.

Your best bet is the chalk line test.

I alway look at the tire contact to the road. All tires will be different. ( Chalk test) without the chalk.
If you want better mpg run the tires higher.

To 40 all around, to aid in hydroplane resistance.
