Has anyone found an actual decent way to get dog hair out of the carpet fibers... 2 german shepherds have taken their toll...

There's a reason why I went to clazzios covers and a full hammock that has zippered side panels. Covering the interior to contain the mess is the only method that reduces interior clean-out to 30 minutes instead of 3 hours.

Don't know why manufactures install carpet in trucks to begin with.

I use 50 grit sanding disks. Pull the disks ( not attached to a sander) across the carpet and it just grabs the hair. Vacuum the hair off the disk and repeat.

Once the majority is loosened, I use compressed air with a blow nozzle to loosen the real deep embedded hair. It's a dusty job, but is the best I've come up with.

Oh I did, and in progress of converting my cap into dog land... but, until then... it still gets everywhere, and slowly creeps to the front.

When I get out the air nozzle, I open both passenger and driver doors. Blow the hair out the opposite side you are leaning in. It will look like a hair snowstorm.

If you have allergies, a mask might help...also eye protection. I wear glasses, so that works fine.

I do that same thing with the leaf blower to get the bulk out. But I can only imagine that it'll be intense up close haha.

True. I tried the LB. Not enough concentrated volume in a smaller area. But yes, you will be much closer to the area you need to clean.

I suggest doing this outside the garage. The dust just goes everywhere!

This, but get the target brand ones (blue handle). They work much better. I have a Saint Bernard that lives in the truck and those are the only thing I’ve found. Will try the sand paper and air compress next though

I can’t match a Shepard but my mastiff is heavy into shedding into her summer coat. This will sound corny by the Shark vacuum is the bomb. It fills up 1/2 way thru just my bedroom vacuuming. The other key is to vacuum a lot . The more you do it, the less the chance the fibers get deeper into the pile.
