I have definitely pulled these exact screws from a junkyard truck. I got a bumper from someone who included all the parts but took the hardware out.

I did use generic screws for a while but they didn't fit as well. And the junkyard doesn't care about extra screws when you're pulling bigger parts.

    MIG welder arrives tomorrow.

Just need a plasma cutter and an air compressor and I shouldn't have to rely much on my work's shop anymore.

pfft. I was actually looking at ADD actuator listings to get an idea of what they are listing at. This one was mixed in the search results.

Like I said, figuring out the transmission is the last checkbox on the list.

Need to seal up the diff tube to the diff and tap in the last seal, done with the diff.
TCase, waiting on a couple of seals I had to order, should be here in a few days. Case prepped and ready.
Knuckles ready to be assembled, all parts on hand just trying to decide on if I want to re-use mine or stick with the ones I already prepped. Shop Press is hungry for press work lol.
Interior and all other misc hardware is done.

Truth be told, I'm not 100% certain on the Tcase. Those shifting keys are bugging the hell out of me. They are held in by 2 large C clips. I think I have it back together correctly but the available documentation is a bit lacking. I'll know I guess once I have it all put back together and sealed up. If it shifts and everything is turning correctly, then I guess it's good to go. Won't know for a few more days.

    Tick tock goes the clock...

    Plans for an install date?

Should make it a mod party, get it all knocked out the same day.

Lathe? Big band saw? Ventilation (doors open count?). Be right back, starting a GoFundMe

I'd love a band saw for sure, but man they take up quite a bit of real-estate.

I hear the red one from Harbor Freight is pretty promising. Put it on a swag table and you've got a fixed band saw.

    Stuff. Also things.
If it’s the Bauer it’s totally worth it. I love mine.

Now I just need to get me a Swag table and I’ll be all set!

I don’t remember what brand it was. Prob is. You’re the first person I’ve heard who actually has it. I need one bad. Ports band can’t make straight cuts on thick material.

J shift case, tacoma. 3 shifting keys. Detailed here - https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...-question-mt-at-w-o-add.756992/#post-26998219

You actually replied to the thread as well and yep, agree. Assemble it in the big portion of the case, not the cover.

I think it's cheap cause really, some things are pretty basic.

We have a nice old Jet drill press at my shop, more like 3-4 across the various shops we have actually. But we also have 2-3 of those Harbor Freight drill presses and those have been with the company for years. They're so thrashed, hell one of them had a new cord jimmy-rigged to it. But they keep on working really well.

I expect that bandsaw to be no different.
