that is a great set up!!! My wife could sleep in that set up, but I might have trouble as I am right at 6'....but I like the modular nature of the cabs!! Would possibly do a version that allowed for the bed to run length wise...and I like the price point of that trailer. I can't justify paying some of the 5 digit price points that I see out there. There are some that cost more than my truck did....no thanks!!

We actually just re-arranged the bed scene. We split it and went long ways ( 2 single bed setups ) with a 'path' between them. You could easily
do a six-foot rig going long-ways. We looked to upgrade recently and the one we looked at was $32,000 base price.... we figured it wasn't 6 times
what we already had so we're just hanging on. This thing ain't the Taj-Mahal but that's the point...

This is the resource I use for snow depths in the Cascades and Olympics

    https://www.fs.fed.us/r5/webmaps/SierraSnowDepth/

I also use a NOAA site, but you have to play around with the different layers to get current snow depth

That’s sick! I met Mike from LLOD last fall and got to hangout with him for a while, he was super cool and down to earth. I’ve never met Talon but it’s on my list of things to do because he makes some killer content.

yeah...we don't basically want a "rolling home on wheels"; when we camp, we are not really in the campsite much during the day, so we don't need tv's, dvd players etc...and she just does not want to get wet while sleeping. I just want something like my truck - simple, and built to last. If I was going to splurge on anything it would be the galley area...and probably would not even go too overboard there...and the AC...if I am not gonna be in a tent, then I might as well slo not be a sweaty mess while sleeping

This is what I use for snow depths. It probably presents the same raw data in a different format as the other sites. This one is a bit clunky but I think it gives the best resolution IMO

Exactly - if I wanted TV, a microwave, dvd player I'd just stay home. I get out into nature to get AWAY from all that. Eat simple healthy foods
and get out with my camera. Wife built a great little box that sits in the back of her Forester and in the back of the truck perfectly that holds
our cooking gear - a chuck-box I guess you call it. Has a little gas stove, a slide out for water, coffee stuff, eating utensils etc. Everything you
need nothing you don't. I'll try to round up an image of that... oh here we go.

Awesome. Lots of public land to camp on. Hit up FS 23 out by Mt. Adams too. Great country.

I’ve driven a small amount on FS23 but mostly on FS25. I’m planning on driving 23 more in the coming years.

She did a great job. I'm considering making one to separate my cooking and camping gear, I think they're a great idea

Had an epic trip through White Rim and Elephant Hill in Canyonlands. Taco did great except I had to winch up Bobby's Hole after I took a poor line and ended up on the rear diff.

I have a two burner propane coleman. I rarely use both burners but I like the wind shields, but since I rarely use both burners I've considered downsizing. Do you ever feel handicapped with the one burner? What does it take for fuel?

    FYI I mainly camp solo.

It uses these little cans... I boil water for coffee and can cook foods up on it many times - probably a dozen or so -
And no we do just fine with the one burner. We do have a dual burner as well for other cooks.
