Mine has some sort of plastic looking protective decal from the factory. Thought they all came with it.

I’ll get a better pic tomorrow, just zoomed in on another pic. This is the rear door handle BTW. You can definitely see the edge of it.

Upgraded from 1" block to Headstrong 3 leaf AAL in the back. Thought I'd save a couple bucks and reuse the long U bolts from the 1" block kit. Big mistake. Just about snapped the bolts trying to get the nuts past the spot they torqued to with the blocks, if that makes sense. Then I almost couldn't get the nuts back off. I'll never try to reuse U bolts again. Lesson learned.

Luckily I had a friend that was able to come pick me up, drive across town to a place that makes custom length U bolts and take me back.

I have it how I want it now, I like the stance with a little rake. 1.5" lift front and back. Have a 1degree pinion shim installed which eliminated all my braking vibes. I'm really happy with the ride quality with the HS AAL, too.IMG_20220526_104206455.jpg IMG_20220526_104147228_HDR.jpg IMG_20220526_153633523_HDR.jpg IMG_20220526_153657111_HDR.jpg

I have the HS AAL and couldn’t agree more about the ride quality. Nice looking rig BTW!

One of my loaner Tacomas had that installed from the factory. When I had the month-long AC drip inside the cab saga.

So my brother in law saw this on another Taco and thought I (being a huge Star Wars nerd) needed it on mine. 6293E8F2-D05E-47B4-8482-5ED09EEFFCB2.jpg
Just did a debadge last week but this deserves a place on the Taco.

Custom, only one ever designed and built interiors, heavily welded frame, all sharp metal turned bed rack and a roof top I made for $75. Power pedal, injen intake system, cat delete, summit racing brake proportioning valve controlled on the fly, slightly adjusted or perhaps unrecognizable ECM, built in under bed storage, high clearance rear built with 1/4" on a 6011 1/8" rod at 120 amps, 360 degrees of led light, a PA and CB, on board air, on board propane (to cook food), on board fridge made from an old red bull fridge found on some guys man cave built into the storage cubby under the back seat, imported tranny and clutch from a good friend over in Europe to replace this aisin junk we get, combined 32 gallons fuel capacity, 18 5 gallons of water storage, built in gun locker under RTT, and all it cost was to hear the wife ramble on about upset neighbors at 2 in the morning every night since I bought that damn truck..
So couple mods and upgrades. Had a slight mishap yesterday that justified me buying a new lincoln electric welder. ...and other stuff. As I was on my way to a service call for a dude broke down, I realized I, too, was broke down. Sigh. I walk out my garage and see my taco angled a strange way that only drifters in the JDM world would circle jerk to. The factory weld for the strut tower ON THE FRAME had broke. Hell yeah nothing like a truck with 84k on the clock breaking welds. Damn thing ain't even seen salt. But I digress. Six hours later I must test the new upgrade. And what a better way than traveling very quickly over a set of railroad tracks. To be fair, I didn't go that fast, merely enough speed to remove four tires from pavement for approximately 2 to 3 seconds. And as it so happened, the welds did not in fact break. However the bed mounts did.. but as the decal on the quarter panel so boldy states, it is in fact the one and only "fucker's mint edition".
