alright ill let the cat outa the bag,
    I'm looking for a 1ts gen.
When I got the 2nd gen, it was durring the end of highschool, and me and my friends were taking trips to the snow, and other places often, and I was usually one of the main drivers. So I wanted to have the room for others. But now into college, I would say that about 2-3 times a month I drive with people in the back, so its not economically smart for me to be making monthly payments on something I dont use.

Another reason is that I drove in a 1st gen (a member on here :D, and is going to be at mod day) and really liked it. I realized that i dont need the sparkle of the newest Tacoma, and that the 1st gen was all I NEEDED. (though I do like the 2nd gens, but thats just what I WANT....not NEED)

I'd take the white lettering on the truck.

Nice! Are you looking at an access cab or single cab? Also are you looking at getting the TRD? That's cool man the downside to that is they are still going to be pretty pricey! I noticed they were still up there when I was looking around for a new vehicle.

Hayes is a pretty popular one that I noticed. I also noticed if you can find it at any other dealer besides a Toyota one they will have a lower price and are real easy to talk down on. That's what happened with my Runner. I got the exact price I wanted on the trade in of my truck, I got the price of all the modifications added into that total, I haggled down the actual price, and even got the loan interest a lot lower than what they had gave me. Good luck for you bud!

I think the first gens are great trucks. Just a tad too small for me though. I like a slightly bigger truck. That's why i have always liked the second gens. I think they are the perfect size. not too small and not too big.
