How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

Thanks was told it would arrive by June 30th if not sooner since dealer is selling to me.

It has not, still only showing the rail depart date of 05/17. At least it has not updated, it may be there but if it has not gotten scan its not going to show.

Vessel arrived to Newark on 05/19, one more truck ride to the dealership.

 

My Tacoma arrived at logistics park (Chicago)
May 23rd, no movement yet.
I'm assuming they are waiting on a full transport for the trip down state......

Truck was build on 05/23, processing to depart by truck to get to a rail.

 

Phase I:

Day 0: On February 7, 2022 committed to purchase of Tacoma, writing a check for $1,000 as down toward a Tacoma TRD OR (lunar rock). Told there was no current allocation available plus the color was hard to get.

Day 50: On March 29th the dealer provided the VIN. I was notified the truck would be at the dealership on or about April 10. Delayed

Day 106: On May 25, traveled to dealership to take delivery of Tacoma. Vehicle was damaged at point of delivery, or during transport.

Vehicle reordered.

Phase II: ????

 

Oof that's worse than mine. I put a deposit down in October for a EL Pro.. called in March saying it's going to be built in April. Called in April to say Toyota pulled their allocation completely. They still haven't received a new one.

Fortunately the Lunar Rock OR I put a deposit down for at another place *should* be here soon. Good luck on your next one!

 

ugh I'm so sorry. That's awful, what was damaged on the vehicle? Did the dealership let you know before you went to pick it up?

 

Can they tell you it got damaged but really sold it to someone that just offered them alot more money for it?

 

I have no clue, but that's so shady. I'd truly hope no dealer would do that.

 

I was told build date 5/13 and delivery in 2-3 wks, but I still only have the temp vin. Can anyone give me more info with this temp vin?
