I always leave it better than when I started using it. But every time I use it, it is in worse condition than last time.

I feel like it's a trained behavior. As cars became more complicated to work on all maintenance has been delegated to the dealer.

With equipment that's not able to be driven to the dealer the maintenance is neglected. For me this is fine because I buy $8000 GTs for $500 and put a few hundred in to have a lifetime use tractor.

Their cars reflect this as well. The transmission went out because it was neglected and not serviced? Park it and buy a different cheap used vehicle. A 40hp tractor is not cheap. But they didn't pay for it so they don't appreciate it.

We've got a Farmall Super M at the lake property that I've been working on getting back running. We've used it pretty regularly until about a year and a half ago, and it has sat since then. I think I've got it narrowed down to the carb needing a good cleaning. Does anyone have a good source for a parts/rebuild kit for these carbs?

When I worked for truck fleets and trailer dealerships grease wasn't even considered. They bought 80lb barrels of whatever the supplier had. We had air grease pumps that sat on top of the barrel and you squirted till clean grease came out.

I did that for 20yrs and never even knew there were different weights of grease like motor oil until recently seeing it on a forum. So for me grease choice has always been "lots and often"

This reminded me. I've been buying all my Cub parts from these guys lately. New and used parts. Great service.

We flew back from VA Beach on Friday. Had to run thru ATL airport to make a flight due to a delay. Our gate was 1 mile from the one we got off at. Ran 1/4 mile with my backpack on my back and my wife's on my chest, rode/ran up 3 escalators and a train to get to the connection.

Barely made it and had no food from 7AM till 7PM. I mowed and cut down a tree yesterday and wasn't really caight up from the return flight nightmare day.

I am going to make a ripper out of this hitch, the shank, and the tooth will be from the mower blade---tomorrow. I'm exhausted today.

Anyone know what this weighs? Delivering it and need to know if the 8k equipment trailer is sufficient?

In addition, I know what the owner paid. I'm curious if he got a deal or not.

It has a box blade as well as a straight blade.

Made is to it's destination. A bit of trailer carnage. No biggie.
