How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

Thank you Rod03 for the update, more than my dealer ever did. I put down deposit on February 1st, paying MSRP, only change from original “order” is truck will be silver instead of MDG. Does anyone know the process once the truck leaves the port of Cazaro Cardenas Mexico? For example, does the ship go to LA/Long Beach and all vehicles are offloaded then sent by rail to dealers? Just curious on the logistics of the transportation. Also any information on the timeline, how long does it take to get to LA, if that where the ship goes. According to Rod03 (thanks again) my truck left on May 23. I live on Olympic Peninsula in WA - long way from Mexico so I’m sure there are ships, rails and trucks involved before it gets here.

 

Anyone here in Hawaii still waiting for their VIN? Placed an order mid March on a Super White Tacoma OF DBCB 6MT with Premium upgrade and my salesman cant provide any update.

Hey @Rod03, could you provide some intel on this one? 3TMCZ5ANXNM498951 I've been waiting a loooong time, since December. I think it is in Logistics Park, but just want to confirm. Thanks for all that you do for us!

 

Truck was schedule to be build on 05/11, but it has not happen or update it yet. Also delivery is going to be more than a few weeks, it needs to get on a train and a truck before it gets to the dealership.

 

Truck shows it rail arrived on 05/17, a note was add it on 05/24. See below,

It seems that a lot more trucks are being held for QC, is this normal? I hadn't heard of this before.

Yep! My salesman (Windward) told me that they don't get the VIN info until the truck is built and put on the boat to come over. Not sure how true that is, but I don't have a temp VIN or real VIN either. Which location did you order from?

I placed an order early January for a MGM OR DCSB 6MT 4x4 with premium/tech/LED. Was originally told April build for a May delivery. Early in April, my salesman told me the build got pushed to July, so I'm still waiting. I also put a backorder request in for the same truck without premium, just with the lower tech package and LED. That was supposed to be a May build for a June delivery, then that order got pushed to August. On top of those two, I also have a salesman at the Honolulu location that will let me know if he gets any customer cancellations that match what I'm looking for. At this point, I'll take whichever build gets here sooner.

Put a deposit down on 5/13. Got an allocation and build date for 6/25. Let's hope that doesn't get pushed back with all the production cuts and pauses and whatnot. Waiting is hard but I know many of you have had it worse.

so I assume since it’s after 12 on a Friday then there won’t be an update till next week? Anyone know anything about QC holds or have experience with it?

 

My ACLB Off-Road unicorn. She's home!!! Loving it so far. Don't have a ton of time to drive today but ran some quick errands and love how it feels. Feels like a tank compared to my little Impreza.

 

Are the QC holds spread around different locations or are they happening in certain regions? Anyone know?
