The backside lettering is black, just tell them to mount black side outward/white side inward.

Can't speak to prior Wildpeak experience, but I've had these UT's for nearly 45,000 miles and they're doing great, still pretty quite on highway/interstate roads, still provide great AT level traction in dirt, gravel, sand...it isn't a mud terrain so not so good in mud.

    Thank you for your inquiry,

At this time we do not have anything running for the Ultra terrains. We just got our May deals thread posted with current promotions though - Link below. We will also be updating it through the month. PM headed your way.

Good morning all. Wanted to give a shoutout to Doug and the @Discount Tire team. I have been on the thread for a while as the Tacoma is about ready for some new tires. My wife was on the way back from visiting her dad and ran through a patch of debris on the interstate which resulted in a nasty puncture in the sidewall. Doug had previously PM's me regarding a question about the Ultra Terrains and I reached back out to him when I suddenly needed tires for my wife's car. He and the entire Discount Tire team were very helpful and made the process painless. As great customer service doesn't seem to be what it once was, it was refreshing to see that it hasn't completely disappeared. This was my first experience with Discount Tire and Doug and the team have assured that it won't be my last!

I haven't read through all the comments on these tires but ill say I've had these for over a year and have had nothing but problems with them as far as balancing them. @Discount Tire even sent me out a 2nd set of tires and still the same problem. I've tried multiple balance machines and even thought at one point maybe it was my old level 8 mk6's so I bought some method 305s and still the same problem. I've learnt to deal with the vibrations but I wont be buying Goodyears again. anyone else have problems with balancing them? 265/75r16 SL.

Timely post. I have the same tires on factory wheels, and 16K on the tires. They balanced very well when installed new, but I have recently been noticing a vibration and it is getting worse. My dealer is an hour away and I haven't had the time to take it in yet, but am planning to soon. The tires are at 32psi, wearing evenly, and are rotated every 5K. I hope a re-balance will smooth 'em out because I really do like these UltraTerrains -- ride, appearance, and snow traction have all been great.

Just bought some brand new in 265/75/16 and you should see the number of weights they had to use to balance them. Otherwise I like them. They are so much cheaper than KO2’s and the only advantage to those is they are probably tougher in the rocks and sharp stuff. I’ve heard those are a challenge to balance as well though so who knows

Pulled the trigger on a set of (5) 265/75/16 Goodyear Ultraterrain AT's for Memorial Day! just got them installed today and couldn't be happier. The ride feels more cushy coming from Hancook Dynapro ATm so far, well see how they age. This pavement princess just got a little more beef. Zero rubbing or balancing issues. If your out here wondering if you should purchase these I would say its a great tire for the price, brand name with aggressive stance, win/win in my book. Be sure to buy the cert's just in case =D
