one of the greatest things about the ktm and husky is the weight difference. not everyone will take advantage of engine output, but you can appreciate a less heavy bike at just about any speed.

RED! right on. Beautiful. What year? I've been fortunate to sit on a vintage, and one of my buddies has an Egli-Vincent Godet that he rides more than his other bikes, so i'm around that one all the time. Art. Congratulations.

keep the rubber side down, lads, enjoy the weekend. Hopefully there will be dry roads for everyone.

If things go well, I'll be bringing home a 'holy grail' bike this weekend...pics to follow, if successful.

    here's the tease...

Just got home from picking up my new bike. I went for a short 2 mile ride and damn this thing is lite. Love the look, power is low but can’t ring it out yet but I can tell I will be doing a pipe and fuel controller. Here are a couple pics. One in the bed and one with its garage partner. I can’t believe I paid half as much for my FZ1 than the Klx. Oh well I did get a KILLER deal on the FZ1. Bike MSRP is 5999 for the 2022 camo,, So total OTD was 8200. Freight and set up was too much but shipping cost are up I get that and they have to keep the lights on and set up isn’t cheap. Then the reg tax, title license cost. Well buy once cry once. It’s just money right? Lol

As much as I like getting stickers I could never bring myself to “stick” them to anything. I started hoarding stickers in high school thinking that I’d sticker bomb my first shit box. That shit box came and went and even though I eventually sticker bombed one tool box many years ago that also came and went, I still have a massive collection of stickers from bands and vendors and speed parts companies from my muscle car days. Some are getting close to 30 years old and I keep adding to the pile.

My gun safe and one of my coolers is where most of the stickers end up.

I put stickers on the inside of my trunk lid for places I've been or events I've participated in like rallies. I've started putting some on the outside of the trunk to cover up scratches.

An original red one too, one of 120 from the factory.
That’s awesome, I’ve done some business with godet and they are fantastic people. We sold them 3 frames that they made Into 150k bikes.

I did this for years cause I don’t like stickers on my vehicle. So now I keep a impressive collection on my compressor, inside my tool box lid and I sticker bombed my welding hood

Well shit, went on a spending spree for the new Klx. Bought the delkavic 14” carbon slip on, dynojet power commander fuel tuner, skid plate, bar risers, levers, rear rack, hand guards, bell mx9 helmet and alpinestar boots. Need to get some riding pants and a chest protector. All I have is strictly street gear. Oh well spending money and mods are fun.

Ordered the decat link pipe for the ktm. Won't get it for 2 months. Exhaust should be here middle of next month. Been looking for lever guards. Everything is on backorder

This ktm is draining my bank account.
But for good reasons. Just ordered the lower cowl.

    Screenshot_20220528-163440_Gmail.jpg
    So far I've ordered
    New grips
    Leo Vinci lv10 dual exhaust
    Arrow link pipe decat
    Bmc air filter
    Puig windscreen.
    Still looking for lever guards
And I actually like the stock mirrors on it.
Next thing to order is tail tidy and led blinkers front and back
