Is it a real GT4? I’m going to side on doubt but I’ve been wrong before. I wouldn’t swap wheels on an otherwise perfect car

I know next to nothing about Bentley and RR, I've driven Bentley Continental once. It was cool in the same way driving a firetruck would be cool to a 5 year old. But I don't think I'd have interest in doing it regularly.

Yea, sucks though after that drift driving to a house fire at 15 mph.

 

Trust me, I do it for a living and love the shit out of it. Do you ever want to holler at stupid drivers? I do it daily with a siren and loud ass horn

I also found this 1994 Mercedes S500 at the same Quakertown car lot where I found the three FJ Cruisers, the Subaru BRZ, and the custom Mustang; It was a garage in addition to a car dealer, and I think this Benz was just hear for service...

RANDOM FACTOID: Princess Diana was killed in a black 1994 Mercedes S280, basically this car but a Euro-spec model with a 6-cylinder engine.

My boss took the company Escalade to the repair shop to get the A/C fixed and I picked him up; This beautiful 1984 Porsche 911 Targa had just gotten inspected and was waiting to get picked up by its owner!

This is a 1986 Dacia Pickup, based on the Dacia 1300 if I am correctly remembering what the owner told me; I saw it at the Carlisle Import Nationals a few weeks ago. It is over 25 years old, and as such was legally imported into America, but it is believed to be the only one in the country; The owner also believes it is the finest example in the world! I do not believe it was restored, and the odometer was showing 91,950 kilometers at the time I took the pictures; This translates to just over 57K original miles!

Having been legally brought into the country under the 25-year loophole, this unique truck is titled and registered in New York; You will notice that the license plates say "PAPUC"; In the Romanian language, this literally translates to "slipper". The truck got this nickname in its home market because it resembles a slipper; The owner of the truck, who was kind enough to let me open the doors and let me take pictures inside, is Romanian. I had heard of Dacia prior to seeing these vehicles, but this was my first time seeing one (especially the truck) in person!

Holy crap this is awesome!

 

It has no A/C and not radio, but for a Soviet-era pickup truck, it doesn't appear to be much different inside than any foreign or domestic pickup sold in America during the same time period...

 

I know, right? I kinda want one!

 

Under the hood! It's a gas carbureted 4-banger of approximately 1300cc; Probably makes 60-70hp if I had to guess...

 

This 1988 Dacia 1310 wagon is basically the same vehicle as the blue pickup above, from the front doors forward...
