I love how the rack looks. I’m thinking about adding a rack to my cap but I don’t think my cap can support a rack. I need to do some research.

Yes! The 2009 book arrived yesterday! Much thicker than for my '84 Longbed Deluxe, which had the same length bed as the '09 ACLB. Installed the new All Pro Off-Road front skid Wednesday, crawling around under the truck without wiping off any frame treatment on my bod. Today: Took it to Hippo Car Wash (my first time) for their red wash (no undercarriage wash, as recommended by NH Oil Undercoating) using the free wash card from Parker Toyota's oil change and inspection. Parked next to a Gen3 at Fred Meyer after the wash. 20220527_123554.jpg 20220526_153919.jpgI'm really glad the Milwaukee 3/8 drive metric flats sockets arrived from Home Depot since it's much easier to loosen bolts with a box end wrench working opposite the ratchet handle, like the old style cross lug wrench. Rain and T-storms forecast for the weekend...

A little Laminx yellow on the rear Baja's. I'm liking the look and always like the usefulness of the amber color. I did both of them.

Change the oil today and found out an older funnel that I’ve had for a while actually screws right into a filler tube, perfect!

Installed new knobs. Was able to get the HVAC to light up for the pic but they’re out again.

I’m kind of in love with your taco, that thing looks sick. What kind of MPG do you get out of it?

Trying to get the 10 yr old pin stripes off the truck today. The white top layer came off with a plastic scraper & rubbing alcohol, but the underlying black layer (guessing adhesive) is flush with the clear coat and isn’t coming off. Tried a heat gun and about every liquid I have to remove it using a buffing wheel on my dremmel. Alchohol, oven cleaner, goo gone, degreaser, wd40, A/C coil cleaner, acetone, mineral spirits, glass cleaner, sea foam, oil stain remover… about at my wits end. Power washing between liquids so I don’t f up my pyrite mica paint too too bad.

I always put floor liners in my vehicles so I had roughly 5 boxes of those stashed in the garage for Toyota and Ford vehicles. Every once in a while I will find a set, immersed in cob webs, and toss them out.

Installed a Kenwood DXM 4707S head unit paired with Infinity Ref Series front and rears.
Crutchfield of course and paid the $24 for pre-wiring of the harness. Went pretty well. Sound is a big step up. Apple Carplay and Android Auto (still trying to understand how this works). I have two phones so can use both platforms.

Bought the Scosche mount just in case the Metra sucked... Scosche is much better and used that.

Crutchfield support is just the best. 8 years with the OEM unit was about 8 years too long. For reference, head unit is $380...$500 for everything except speakers... had those
