U dunno if my twin stick base actually reduces throw any but now I'm wondering if I can get away with slots there and not lose the cup holder at all.

 

there is a fellow who used to make a shirt throw kit for the twin sticks. Saves some space on the inside for sure. That 4lo is a longy.

 

I haven't ever found anything on the wiring other than the butt connectors you need at the 4wd ECU. Going from a single plug on the E-CASE to the MANUAL with 3 plugs on it. I'm guessing just grab a wiring diagram and make new connections? Never set mine up just always had the flashing lights on the dash...

I'll say this: it eventually came, but it took forever, same with the sample pack of materials that I first sent for..... and was actually hand made in Poland... so that could have added to the delay... Putin's war was just a few weeks in at the time so....

But I do like how it came out more or less....

 

For those with 2012-2015, the process of jumping two wires from the 4wd computer together is the same and the pins stayed the same but the wire colors are different, F12 pin 11 and 19.

Sup fellas. Looking to make sure I have everything in order to do this swap so hoping some of yall can give me some pointers if needed.

Basically I'm going to be doing a ADD delete as well as the tcase swap (also throwing in a front diff from ECGS with an arb). I split the sticks myself using the RST write up and got some shifters from front range. I also ordered everything listed to do the ADD delete listed in the How to: Deleting ADD system. Aside from that stuff, what else do I need to get my trucks 4WD working? I'm under the impression that I won't need anything else. truck is a 2015 4.0/Auto.

Just unsure on what will need to be done to the 4WD ECU (if anything). FWIW idc about dash lights working I just want some good ol manual 4wd shifting. thanks!

 

Unplug the 4wd ecu and you won’t have any flashing dash lights as far as I’m aware. That was the case with my truck but mine’s old enough to lack traction control. Other than that, you can jump a few wires at the 4wd ecu to get your 4wd and LO lights to work on the dash, but that’s really it. None of this will impact your ability to still manually go into 4wd.

 

Got around to my first attempt at making a dual boot for the FJ case.

 

Probably should have asked in my previous post but I plan on putting the twin sticks where the hotdog/taco holder is and I'm curious if you guys have the lengths on the pieces you used to bring the shifters to the passenger side. Roughly judging by the pics it looks like 2 1/2" pieces would do. Trying to get most of this stuff ready to go as the truck is my only vehicle and I only have about 4 days time to get it all done.

Anyone went to delete ADD and ditch the 4WD control unit? I actually need to replace my burnt 4WD control unit if anyone have a spare? The part number on the sticker shows 89533-04020.

 

if you decide to replace it I have one from my 2014 sitting on the shelf.

 

How'ed you burn it up? I'm sure it's happened to folks before but I've never heard about or seen a thread for it having happened.

 

Don't know if it will work for you as the P/N is different and it's out of a manual, but you can have it. Edit: out of a 2009.
