Many of the angles show a pretty clear intent to get that skate on the puck. And also, the net cam shows him 'eyeballing' the puck...quite intently. That's the biggest clue that he was trying to "hide" it. That one 'reverse' angle shot....REALLY shows the kicking motion. So....meh..

The bigger picture is this... why isn't there a mob of Cowtown fans, pitchforks in hand, not searching for that giant Tool.....for even TOUCHING the puck.....when it was clearly headed into the net..
And also....the Oilers (for the most part) outplayed the flamers....and there's little doubt that they would've won the series anyway. Calgary's goalie sucked just a little more than Edmonton's....and Calgary's top forward played at about the same level as Nuge. And Hyman, Kane, McDavid, and especially Draisaitl, were WELL above Nuge..

Nearly 9 times out of 10....the Oilers are the recipients of the "shit call" (even though I agree with the call). So....meh..

It's all rather in inconsequential. As the Oilers will likely get throttled, by either the Avs or the Blues anyway. Avs are very strong this year. And the Blues always seem to thump the Oil..

I thought early that the boos had figured out Kemper. He over plays the angle alot. We shall see next week! Mcflava and drycycle are a big threat but both hate to get hit.
