I installed the rear footwells awhile back and was not a fan of the lighting effect on the front seat mounts as seen here.

    20220325_193123.jpg

I adjusted them around quite a bit as well.

I just got my extensions and mounted them to the rear as other users suggested. Now they kind of shine right in my eye whenever I look into the back. I prefer the lighting effect over the fronts but I think an angled mount for the rear would make this kit just perfect. I will be 3d printing my own. Testing version 8 now. image000000(5).jpg image000000(4).jpg
All in all very happy with the kit. It has been working flawlessly. Well done.

I could. We need to get some black filament and make a few more adjustments. We've been doing the test prints in red because that's what we have.

At this time no. Amber inside of the interior looks very strange. We do have exterior strips in an amber color if that’s a route you want to take. You’d have to piece together a kit using the replacement parts section of the website.

appreciate the response, I just prefer the amber color as it matches the gauges and its easier on the eyes but the soft white looks nice too

If you decide not to sell them, I’d be interested in the specs/file to make my own.

Ordered a front and rear kit as well as a VLEDS interior bulb kit, all in 5000K. It all shipped same day. Will see how it all is tomorrow when it arrives. I think for now I'm only going to mess with the fronts as I don't really have a good location for the rears, I simply bought them because they were cheap and available. I'd be interested to buy a 3d printed solution from someone here if that becomes a good option.

I don't think I'll be disappointed from the looks. Looks like a nice job from all the guys who collaborated to bring these to market.

With everything on hand and nothing else planned, I installed the fronts, MESO puddle pods, new tweeters and removed the the working raptor lights I had in a terrible looking triforce. The footwells look great!

Got my footwells in. Took maybe an hour and a half. I couldn’t find a good way to route the extension between the two fronts so I tore the console all apart and hid in there. These are awesome!

    38C90CDD-841B-4E14-BD60-4D184983AC93.jpg B11499A0-1839-4CAB-8E71-AAE9BA0C1699.jpg

I got puddle pods as well but I haven’t hooked them in. After seeing the freak accident thread with those the other day (blew the guy’s BCM for an unknown reason - not sure if the lights were faulty or the harness), I think I’m going to wire inline some diodes to the puddle pods so that there’s no chance of them doing anything to my truck. They can have power/ground and that’s it. Obviously I know my footwell harness is good to tie into because the truck is working just fine after that install.

For what it’s worth I have the puddle pods, v5 turn signals and foot well lights all wired in (using the t harness that came with the footwell lights) without any issues.

Oh I know, vast majority have no problems at all. I’m just a little paranoid after seeing the crap that one guy is going through. I have at least 125 diodes in a drawer so it’s about 5 minutes of my time and cheap insurance to do it and forget about it. I have a feeling that guy’s problem was the harness and not the lights. So now that I know I have a working t harness from the Footwells, I’m not so nervous but still want to add a bit of insurance.
