Pro tip, you can heat aluminum to the point where it “burns” anodizing off. So if they don’t have a color you like, you can always go raw aluminum. My pegs were originally ally blue and red but they’re both bronze now.

Hey QQ for you gents - where do you buy OEM parts for 4wheelers? I ran into my buddy’s quad yesterday and bent the rim on his 03 Suzuki LT-F400. I’m having a hell of a time trying to find a site that looks trust worthy to order the stock wheel. Revzilla is my go to but they don’t have it.

 

finding a nice clean used set might be your best bet, i would check ebay and FB marketplace and sites like thumpertalk.com

you might have an easier time searching for wheels by bolt patter than by make and model as well, just an thought

 

Partshark.com or partzilla.com have both served me well for OEM parts

 

Intersection onto Green Spring?

Took the Speed Triple out yesterday for a really short ride. Got some clattering on decel that I could hear and feel through the handlebars. Worried that it's an issue beyond my skillset to diagnose, much less work on. If it's something super serious, I reckon I can put some $$$ toward it and still feel okay about the purchase but, damn, the bike has less than 9k on the odo...

 

I haven’t ridden since Wednesday the 18th and I miss my bike.

Although I got married and I’m in maui now so I can’t complain tooo much.

I’m amazed at how few bikes I’m seeing here. Tons of 50cc rental mopeds but very few others aside from a crew riding through front street in full HD fashion.

Also amazed at how many poorly lifted 2wd tacos with awful wheels I’m seeing haha

edit: forgot I saw a dude on a non-harley chopper riding down the free way with no helmet, no shirt, towel around his neck, shorts, and flip flops. Gave me a chuckle.

 

Well, if you HAVE to go without riding, being there is probably the best reason ever! Also, congrats!!!

I thought about it, but probably won’t end up doing it. There’s an eagle rider just down the street that I looked into. We’ve kept fairly busy the whole time and I’ve been drinking fairly not stop haha.
