I am 6’4” and my son 6’2”. Tacoma’s with sunroofs do not have adequate headroom for me. Whereas our SR Tacoma is the only vehicle in the family without an electric adjustable driver seat (annoying), the seats are surprisingly comfortable to us.

I can't figure out why when people buying a vehicle should try them out and check everything that would not be suited for them instead of coming here and whine about it. just saying

First of all, was not whining Nirango, I was asking a question to see what others think or have come up with a solution, as far as coming on here whining, probably the same reason people come on here and pick apart others posts. Guess your momma never taught you to be kind to others!

Seems to me that there is hardly any headroom for tall people and plenty for short ones…

At only 5'7" of course you dont have any problems getting in and out. You're a tiny little guy.

I cant figure out why people like you have to reply. This thread doesn't apply to you since you are a small guy. Yet you come in here and insult people for discussing what us full sized men run into? Unreal...

Oh and to help you understand how I got into this tacoma. It's actually my son's who went to serve in the military. I am taking care of it for him while he is deployed. So that's how this full sized man got into this tacoma and how I relate with what the OP is saying.

Maybe you should think before you post.... #justsaying.

I am 6'4'' and have 0 issues in my 2019. Yeah, I have to duck my head a little to get in, but that is the case with almost any car lol.
Sounds like there may be risers in there.

I think my issue is the thickness of the drivers seat, front is like 7 inches thick. looking at some options like swapping seats with a 4 runner, or some folks have listed that lexus fits also. Don't want to completely mod the truck. Seems to be a issues for others also. As far as why i bought the truck, I love the style and dependability, had almost every other truck on road, last 4 were Rams, and just tired of the issues that some of them have. Thanks for all the suggestions, etc. Good to get some input from others that may have had some of the same concerns.

Toyotas seem to be designed that way.

Funny how I can fit and yet shorter people complain about headroom.
Older Toyotas, yeah. New ones? No issues for me

3rd Gens cab is a lot deeper than the early trucks. Freakishly tall folks probably should get a full-size instead. The Tacoma seat height/cab size fits my wife and I perfectly, of course she is 5’6” and I am 5’8” on a good day.

Yea Rams are a crap shoot. They can be great and not make a peep or you could have nothing but trouble with them. The one I had was the trouble-free kind fortunately. The Grand Cherokee I bought after the Ram, not so much.

I will tell you why because I am sick of people whining all the time about the Tacos they are all over this websit,
They should buy GM, Fords or Dodges then they will see how much better they are. just saying

The OP asked a legitimate question. There was NO whining, pissing and moaning form him at all. So what the heck are you talking about? Was it me saying I hate how high my seats are? Is saying I hate how my seats are in reply to the OPs question about the same thought, whining, pissing and moaning to you two? If so, you both need to calm your bodies. Good grief. He just wants help on lowering his seat. And I dont like how high they are either. No need to burn people at the stake for this.

Well sir… size doesn’t make you a man. I’m not personally offended that you would categorize people as “real” based upon their size. Instead I’m just disappointed in you. I’m 5’ 6.5”. My troubles getting into the taco stem from my use of the dessert does it seat jackers. But, I ain’t complaining, I know why it’s fucked up. Just attack nirango because of his statements, not because you happen to be a larger person. That shit don’t make you a man.

    That didn’t take long.

95% of the initial posts on TW are about ‘how do I fix this broken thingy’, ‘how do I make this thingy better’, or ‘how do I add this thingy’? The other 5% are random. OP fits right in with the general use terms of TW. Seat height and position are such popular issues that multiple vendors have fabricated solutions. Sounds like he has the truck he wants, but is just looking for a solution to make it better.

Yes, its amazing how when you "ASK a question", some mopes think you are complaining and have to add their BS...Again, I LOVE this truck, but just had a question? WTF is wrong with some of you folks. Get a Fking life, stop being so critical of others, or just stay the FK off these forums where others have comments or concerns or ideas to make these trucks better! Jeez! Otherwise for the smarter folks that gave some suggestions, thank you and happy driving!
