Looks like they drove off the road. Doesn't seem complicated to me

Well wasn’t sure about the run so went out to Tahuya ourselves this morning and got into some shenanigans with the Quadrapaws group up there. Did the harder half of South Loop they were telling me. Recently redone. I had bottomed out twice and 1 slider tap and a few point turns but not too bad otherwise honestly. Nothing at all concerning just sharing so people don’t get surprised if they do it lol.

I could see why some think it’s a waste of time. Long trek for limited 4x4 dedicated trails but was able to check most of it out and have a good time. Riff raff and the other 86S trail out there are simple. Hadn’t got the chance to get up toward Yellow Jacket.

Not many pictures of the tight spots or high humps to get over. Do recommend for those that haven’t done much wheeling and want to get into it. Those that have done Naches, Walker, Reiter, etc may get bored. That’s starting to creep into the used two post lift price range.

I really want their standard none electric version...I know there are a few ultra 4 4400 race teams that run them on their race cars due to how well they work and how quickly they can be removed and stowed securely.

That thing won't even reach my frame rails.....

I suppose you can't break down if you're always working on it, but is a fast jack really that necessary to spend $900-1300 on?

Technically yes, but the brakes failed and the driver was hauled off on DUI charges.

Was cleaning my winch line and noticed the end crimp on the steel line snapped. Anyone replace these crimps before. Checked the local hardware store but couldn’t find what I needed. Unrelated to the Tahuya trip to be clear lol. Probably some snow winching.

Woods Logging up in Sedro Wolley has clamped new ends and made me eyes on both ends of old winch lines. I should have a new steel line laying around. I can’t remember if I gave it away already. That being said I over paid at $80 for this winch rope. I’ve used it logging around the property after wind storms and pulling a guy out deer hunting. I’m pretty happy with it. Hard to beat now for $75 https://tuffstuff4x4.com/products/tuff-stuff-r-synthetic-winch-rope-grey-w-rock-guard-black

Gotta keep a 1ft 4x4 on deck, works great both as a base or stand it vertical to reach high up

this is good to know. I was a bit worried about off brands and was thinking I’d be stuck at 400$ for some line from WARN lol…. They just told me to call probably so some representative could tell me the same. Yeah re sinching it may not be the safest idk…. Hard to say how many pills I’ve done with it like this already though haha

I just laid eyes on my 100’ steel line. You can have it. Probably costs more in fuel to get it than the Tuff Stuff one or if you want to wait a couple weeks we have a job in Everett coming up and I can drop it by.

Thats awesome, I may be interested in waiting for that Everett job. I pretty much have only used my winch during the winter lol. Maybe that means I am not doing hard enough trails. I can trade ya something or whatever sounds good.
