Got bored today and decided I didn’t like the peeling silver plastic caps on the wheels anymore. Dipped them black, thoughts?

they’ll be getting swapped out eventually for some 17”s, just wanted to see what black would look like.

Also swapped my shifter knob.

 

I dig it.

 

I cleaned 18 years of crud out of the AC fan. Was going to tackle the evap coil but it’s to doggone hot this afternoon.

 

What was your approach for cleaning those fan blades? It looks brand new

Well @betterbuckleup was over and pointed out that I was missing a rear bump stop looks like the baseplate just broke off.

ran down and grabbed a Chevy bump and made a quick fix before headed out for a wheeling trip tomorrow.

 

Finally installed Heavier rear springs has 6 leafs now instead 4. Had bought add a leaf from OME didn’t care for its looks. Got coupleheavy ones off my neighbor Older GMC one ton panel van. Had cut bit length off but install went well. Wow what a difference. Taco rides so SO much smoother now, before could run over dime in road & feel it. Rides more like a car than 4x4 now. I’d installed Old Man Emu off road Nitro chargers few months ago now they can function properly.Total lift now little over 2 1/2 “. Running 32 rubber on 17 wheels. Tons clearance. Bet33s wouldn’t even rub but sticking with what got for awhile. ⭐️

Transfer Case Input Shaft ID... from a 4cyl or a 6cyl??

2011 WRX STI seats

 

Yeah, he wasn't able to capture a way to show the spline count. I guess what I'm trying to determine, is this 21 or 23? I believe its actually 23. 21 visible but then the 2 larger 'valleys' where there would be a spline on the transmission side? At least that is my guess. The VIN this tcase came out of shows it was spec'd with a 6cyl AT.
