Who’s getting the worst 3G MPGs and why?

$29,000 buys a lot of gasoline. Not sure that’s worth it.

 

Doubtful, with EVs becoming all the rage with government mandates, diesels are on their way out.

If I had money to burn, would definitely do it. Seems like that is perfect engine for the Tacoma. 300 ft lbs tq @ 1400 rpm, 30 mpgs without having to drive like an egg is under the accelerator pedal.

Price has gone up $10K with the new engine that has DPF.

I once own a Belle Isuzu diesel car, Four speed on the Column. Rode like a Cadillac, the owner give my Dad the Isuzu , own a Cadillac at that time..
My Dad brought a 50 gallon drum of diesel fuel and brought it home, manual pump. We paid $15.00 for every 50 gallons of diesel, 1968?.
