I almost ended up doing cement but the pearl makes it too light in the sun. I love it in low light conditions though and that’s what brought me to the destroyer.

Anything wrong with these beadlocks? Really good price, but can’t find much on them. Would need 0.75” spacers to fit a 40x13.5” tire and that’d keep everything as tight as possible up front.

I’m no expert on wheels but did you double check they make it in our lug pattern? Ours is 6x139.7 vs that 6x135. Other than that, those would be heavy AF since those are clearly not a forged wheel and even forged, I wouldn’t want to push around a 40in with our baby V6 :ballchain:

Save your money and buy a quality wheel with the correct offset so you don’t have to run spacers. Also check Racedezert for used takeoffs... the Tacoma lug pattern is 6x5.5 which is the same as a Silverado, I always see good deals on used wheels. Or you can mortgage your house and buy some forged Trail Readys :)

Yeah sorry for taking the wind out of your sails, didn’t want you to get excited over a wheel that doesn’t fit. I’ve been looking at beadlocks recently too and it’s a fine balance between weight and price. Cheaper locks are heavy as hell and the lighter wheels are astronomically expensive.

Maybe someday I’ll just do a conversion on my alloys. Not super light but at least I wouldn’t have to buy new wheels.

I forget which thread it was.
But whoever said these steering racks dont skip teeth can suck it.
Nothing moved with the JD stuff. Had to lightly bump a ledge on a stair case climb and steering wheel is out of whack. All paint marks good go to go on all the pivots and tie rods etc.
Let go of the wheel and it drives straight as before. Just off some degrees.

That’s a good idea. Wasn’t sure where people shop for used ones. I don’t need anything fancy, just need to keep the tires on the truck.

I’m tired of buying wheels haha the only other thing I’ve seen are these steel ones. Probably heavy as hell especially with a super swamper 40 on top of it

That’s a steal. You’d think there’d be a local used market around here, but I either don’t know how to find it or people buy them and keep them forever.

They make them in our lug pattern and they are good I know quite a few people who run them.
The round hole ones are the ones I have. They are pretty heavy but all beadlocks are. If you're concerned with weight then Black Rhino has some of the lightest beadlocks on the market.

I’m going to look again in our bolt pattern. I haven’t looked at weights on anything. I’m sure it’s mostly pretty bad.

Yes and most companies advertise the weights without the ring and bolts so you have to add a bit for that

I thought for some reason they had some lighter version. I mistook the USA forged versions. 1k a wheel for the forged ones aren’t for me haha. I might be hitting you up for some hd17s though. I’m sick of E rated tires after this last weekend. I want to switch it up now.
