Very nice! I just had some Napa heavy duty axles installed and I am loving them so far. How does the OME setup ride so far?

I see. Well hopefully it'll provide an excellent on and off-road driving experience. I've heard nothing but good things about OME. In the future, I'm interested in seeing what all the hype is about with Dobinson.

I'm 98.3% sure that the 1st gen Tacos use the same, or very similar, front skid plate. I've been keeping 1/2 an eye out for one for my T4R, I have a crusty corner on mine.

@68dave - I tried to find that 80 series ad, I can't find it. Maybe someone already snagged it up.

I splurged today and used a 25% off coupon at HF and picked up a MIG machine. It's a dual shield unit, so that adds some versatility.

Just a heads up for anyone awake around 1AM- From theFoots Forecast FB page-
    So, lets talk meteors.

There is POTENTIAL for a significant meteor shower called a meteor "storm". Basically, we could see up to 1,000 meteors per hour (under perfect viewing conditions). That being said, it could also be a total bust, with no meteors at all. In this case, it's an all or nothing situation.

To see the meteors, go out between midnight and 1AM. That should be about the peak of the storm, and look UP. There is no specific direction to look in. You will want to be away from city lights, as they will dramatically reduce your ability to see the meteors.

fucking flaky people.... I was setting up an appointment to see/buy this tomorrow morning because they said they weren't doing anything with it until the 31st. 3 minutes ago I get a message: " sorry man, someone just came to pick it up". * kicks trash can across the kitchen*

If they would have told me that I could have seen it tonight, I would have been over there Gas Monkey Garage style with money in my pocket. They told me that "tomorrow at noon is the earliest that we will show it to anyone". Sometimes I just hate people.

The GF and I spent yesterday and this morning completely "unplugged". This is what I get for the ONE day that I didn't search for a decent 80 series. :frusty::frusty::frusty::facepalm::facepalm::annoyed::annoyed::annoyed::annoyed::annoyed:

Damn. That really sucks, I’m sorry to hear that. What a great rig that would have been. I suppose it’s better a person like that doesn’t get your money though

Spent the day out at Assateague with my youngest and some friends. We caught no fish and I came home with a bit too much sun. The beach was pretty packed, we arrived at the gate around 8:45 and it was on-off only. Even though we were 3rd in line, we had to wait until 9:45 to get on the sand and there were 8-10 trucks behind us.

Saw a few other Tacomas on the sand. The ranger stopped by on a quad to ask about mine.

On the drive back to DMV area, I chatted over CB to a nicely kitted out silver 3rd Gen with a bed rack and GearPod. He used the handle Cpt.(something) but I forgot the second half. Sound familiar?
