Thanks Jesse! Yes, we're really enjoying ourselves in Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Hi - thanks for sharing! I’m Enjoying the tales of adventure! I am a big fan of exploring this ball of dirt /water!

I did a long trip in Europe - it all seems so long ago. ( I can’t wait to resume…)
    - I wish I could do that for work! (Maybe?).

I’ve visited some 65 countries so far… this only means that there are some 135 other countries/major places I’ve not been to!

Certainly! I enjoy posting our travels. You definitely get out and travel! So far on this adventure we've been to 21 countries with a dozen or so to visit later this year.

If interested we also post pictures of our travels on Instagram at 2roguewanderers. if interested in reading in a bit more detail we post write-ups about each country on our blog site at roguewanderers.com

Old Abbey on Holy Island in northern England. Most of them were destroyed in the 1600s when King Henry of England split from Vatican and created the church of England

Near the end of a calm, warm day on the west coast of Ireland. What a camping site!

Next day we went to the famous cliffs of Mohar. Our weather luck continued
    upload_2022-5-30_14-37-17.jpg

If planning a visit to Ireland, driving at least some of the 2,500 km Wild Atlantic Way is highly recommended.

    upload_2022-5-30_14-39-18.jpg

Just be prepared for many miles of single track roads

    cheers!

Wow, that looks awesome! I had a couple of business trips to Limerick several years ago, but in the Jan/Feb timeframe. Some of my coworkers braved the trip to the Cliffs of Mohar on a cold, windy, rainy day. I passed on it, but probably shouldn't have, weather be danged.

The beauty is you can always go back. Because of the perfect weather and spectacular beauty it was one of the top highlights of our 3 week trip

The first time you smell the peat burning from all the chimneys in a small village, you remember for your life. I so wondered what the smell was until I arrived in our AirBnB.

Looks like the authorities are discouraging burning peat now. Kind of threads the line between being a fossil fuel and being renewable. Takes thousands of years to create instead of millions for oil/coal and not a few decades like firewood

Thank you! We continue our adventures by checking out the national parks (yes, there is such a thing) and pretty towns in northern England.

Shipping the truck in a couple of weeks to explore Iceland for a month!

Been exploring Peak District and North York Moors National Parks. Very pretty! PXL_20220617_145107434~2.jpg
Luds church. Evidently hundreds of years ago a secret church used to worship here.

Roaches Hike, Peak District. I always joke with my wife telling her to find her light, makes her smile

The trucks hit 60,000 miles and I've elected to follow the severe maintenance schedule. Here's the brand of engine oil, transfer case oil, and transmission oils. Even in England the 0-20 weight full synthetic oil is quite difficult to find. I usually end up buying out the store of its supply

A beautiful camping spot all to ourselves on the Isle of Skye. Surprisingly hard to find wild camping spots along public roads that weren't just a wide spot in the pavement as many had no camping signs. Probably due to the heavy tourist use

The beautiful North Coast 500 drive is highly recommended.

The amazing Fairy Pools hike on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. Simply amazing scenery. Isle of Skye this one of Scotland's can't miss highlights.

Glad you went to the Isle of Skye. It's a beautiful place and the Fairy Pools is one of the greatest places my wife and I have ever been. Good spots! If you catch yourself on the north side of the Isle they have camping on a beach inlet
