All I needed to do is renew the registration for the mower trailer --

I hate this kind of stuff -- me and tech ain't so compatible.

 

I tried to renew my wife's tags on the NCDMV app on my phone 2 weeks ago that I've used in the past. It kept telling me the tag wasn't the right one. I got fed up and deleted the app, stopped by the DMV the following day and was out in 5 minutes with tags in hand

 

Just what in the hell is that???

I thought the snakes were bad enough..

 

It's a crawfish, I don't think they live out of the water for long. This one was 100 yards from water in the field. I don't know if something took it there or what. It's the biggest one I've ever seen there though.

 

We don't have DMV here, you get your plates at a Notary.
The website to renew works great -- computers not so much.

Nothing like pulling the prints and watch them see it was their mistake .

Of course PennDot sends you renewal stuff in the mail. Reminds me of a recent disco involving renewing the 2021's registration with an address change. Got the renewal a couple months ago and like usual procrastinate till the last minute. Meanwhile I did a driver license address change card via online portal before getting to the truck's renewal. Fill out the information (and new address) and send the check for the two year amount for the truck. Couple weeks roll by and no new registration card. Hmm. Day later I get a renewal for the 2021 again, this time with my correct address. What the Hell!? Did I fill out the check or form right? Crap. Quickly checked my bank account and PennDot cashed my check already. I guess when I did the drivers license address change card it made them send the trucks registration renewal with my new address. Finally got my new registration card in the mail a week later. Sheesh!

Did yawl see the boat crash in Georgia Saturday that killed 5? A friend of mine, one of his brothers got killed in that wreck. We got an invite to his kids birthday party this coming Saturday and my wife got a message Saturday saying it had been postponed due to the death of Gary's brother. Sad time for the family.
