    Its anecdotal but FedEx is the worst carrier by a wide margin where punctuality is concerned. In my experience they consistently miss their stated delivery date by 1-2 days and cite non-existent weather while reporting the package is ~15 miles from its destination -- very "dog ate my homework" vibes.

    On top of that, they're almost the most expensive of USPS/UPS/FedEx. DHL pricing is on another planet so I'll just pretend they don't exist.

    None of the carriers care about us.

    They all make their money industrial. Overnight planes for airplane parts etc. Your bad experience means nothing. My shipping supervisor at work has a bad experience, that's what rings bells.

    Global economy is dependent on their existence and service, if all of the other carries could fill the void FedEx would go out of business. That goes for any carrier as well. The price to do business would increas, and the level of service would decrease if one of those carriers went away.
