I’m with @weldertaco yall need to liven up.

I need to live vicariously through you guys while I recover from being sick. Felt sooo good after this race but then I got sick so I’m not working out :(.

Itching to hit the gym again.

I decided no 50M this year. I’m ready to lift for a bit and just enjoy the trails as I want to the remainder of the summer.

I do pretty similar in the off-season. Bulk of work being strict presses. And then something like 2-3 sets of push press or pin press afterwards. I like linear progression over six week blocks with the seventh being a deload week depending how I am feeling.

I rarely check in to this thread anymore, but I think every time I do, you got some sort of illness/injury going on.

I actually rarely get sick (not counting COVID cause, errybody got that). Most of my shit is my autoimmune.

Injuries? really only calf strain/PF in the last 2 years.

I actually do not do much strict pressing. There’s so many more ways to build those muscles. tricep extensions, skull crushers, pull downs, dips, etc etc. same for shoulders and whatnot

That being said, if you enjoy them and they work for you then there’s no reason to not do it.

Z pressing and also seated pin pressing is an option as well.

I do 2 heavy days and 2 volume days for the most part/week.

sorry for not a greatly detailed answer. Doing CDB for 4x3@ 135 currently.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m doing plenty of other accessory work as well.
I was just curious if others gravitated to the OHP as well. Which, you did answer the question so now I have one person in each camp. Just gotta wait for @Travish325 to chime in.

I do like to use Z press, pin press, Swiss
Or football bars when I rotate variation too. Heck, even close grip bench has it it’s utilities for strongman in my opinion.

Close grip definitely does. It’s in my current training block

“65% close grip bench 5x5. Stop just before chest. Don’t go all the way down”

No sarcasm. Visible difference or you can just tell by the touch?

I heard rumors about that happening at f you take the “juice” but did know if it was really a thing.

Yes, your body is self regulating. It knows it's getting higher amounts of T than it needs so your pituitary gland sends signals to your gonads to shut off production. Welp eventually that means stopping your own production and atrophy of your own tissue.

Didn't know it was that fast tho HAHA.

touch/visible. The ‘sack’ doesn’t shrink up, but the boys inside it do.
It really is a thing lol

ehhh idk about ‘fast’ I’m going on 13-14 weeks already. Currently running 200mg/week.
    But yep!

I’ll take your TW post as confirmation then. I wonder if you stopped taking Testosterone, would they go back they way they were prior & could your body go back to natural production or not. Anyways, hope everything works out alright for you.
