I would rather deal with ticks than tarantulas and scorpions...

I've seen one tarantula in the 6 years I've lived in Utah. And one camel spider.

Would def rather have those that pose really no harm to you than ticks, which I absolutely hate.

    LOL!

That’s actually a Jesse James front end from West Coast choppers, not Orange County choppers.

This one is crusty & all disassembled but this is a bicycle OCC front end.

I never watched any of those shows by the way. I haven’t had cable TV since 1985 when they started making you watch commercials on television you had to pay for as well.
    American television was always free.

They sold the FCC on allowing “pay TV” by saying it would eliminate the commercials. Ha!

    not enough.
I haven't worried about it. Using the included "security" bolt and tool to tighten it and i really haven't though much about it. I also have my bike super secured to my truck as well whenever I need to secure it.

I was thinking all crooked when I said that my derailer could not access 13th or 14th speed.

It was actually eighth and ninth that it had trouble with. And so I added some chain links. UNFortunately this loosened up the derailer to the point where there’s not enough spring tension, so I may have to take out a link or two. I don’t know how to calculate the optimal length of the chain excepted by trial and error but fortunately I bought a high-quality chain breaker and it works every time.

Unfortunately, the Shimano Tourney is a smelly POS and needs replacing.

I only have one other that will fit this bike but it is an older high-quality Shimano, from the days when they didn’t build garbage.

    <edit>
I didn’t count the teeth and do the mathematical calculations, so I don’t know the exact interlacing of the numerical gear ratios with this front and rear set.

    No way.

Tarantulas and scorpions are both pretty much harmless. You'd pretty much need to try and pick one up to get bitten/stung and even then no big deal. We have a lot of both here, they're just cool.

Ticks on the other hand actively try to feed on humans, and are small enough to be undetectable if you aren't paying attention. Plus they can carry a bunch of different parasites and diseases. They're disgusting.

Buddy got a tick lodged inside his pee hole a couple years ago back in VA. Can't say there's ever been a snake, tarantula, or scorpion involved in a similar case.

Yeah, I'd def rather have my buddies issue that AGS after reading that. If its anything like my cousin that is legitimately allergic to both gluten AND red dye #40, that means your diet is friggin miserable.

I know there are a lot of OneUp dropper post lovers in here, but I am having a hell of a time with the 180 that came on the Spire. The lever feels like garbage, even after using the barrel adjuster in multiple settings. I know that’s easily fixed with a Wolftooth. The other problem is the barrel. Tighten the seat clamp post too tight and it won’t rise all the way. Just tight and the seat post wants to move side to side or slowly drop while I’m riding. Can’t find that happy medium no matter what I try. It’s been super frustrating. Any suggestions? I’m about to chuck it and buy a different one.

If a tarantula ever came out of there, I'd eat a shotgun without hesitation.

Starting to be a problem in NE FL. All the parks that I have been to from Daytona and north have had signs about significantly higher tick population.

our mountain west signs are cooler  Much rather have my face ripped off instantly by a griz than battle AGS or chronic Lyme disease.
