I’m not him but that is the part needed at least at the current time. I think that used to be included but is not now. I definitely could not install my puddle pods off of what I just received from VLEDS. I ordered that piece which as far as I can tell will set me up for the puddle pods. I already got the pods in and plumbed, just need the jumper to plug mine in.

The reason I say I think it used to be included was because on YouTube, Chloe’s footwell video mentioned that harness in her VLEDS kit being for the Meso pods. And my VLEDS kit didn’t come with anything that looked like that. My Meso puddle kit came with similar looking harnesses but they are at the mirrors, not the t harness. So long story short, yes buy that $5 harness and you should be good.

Yes, this splitter used to be included with the Footwell kits. I ordered mine during the initial release from Hotshot Offroad. Glad I did. Now I have all three (FW, V5 and Puddles) working as intended.

yeah, seems right. I have no problem with it not being included today, although I wish I would have known that at the time of ordering so I could have thrown it in the cart at the time. I just paid $10 to ship a $5 part. Oh well, it’s a drop in the bucket long term. I just assumed it was still included like the videos showed so I didn’t order one. Not a big deal though.

I think most people that got them with their kits ended up not using them? So they figured it was just a waste.
Well, we love :spending:on our trucks...

The y splitter used to be included. When it first came out it was included, but most people didn't have the puddle pods so it was useless for them and they ended up just throwing it away (not sure why you would throw it away) lol, but then they just stopped including it. I ordered when it first came out and i planned to get the puddle pods when it was in stock again so I kept mine. Almost forgot where I had stored it. lol

I almost completely gave up on puddle pods and was getting some advise from @kmorgan3 on pulling power from the footwells. I put together some vleds parts and showed it to Kyle. As soon as he confirmed it will work, Of course @MESO puddle pods notification email came in that morning so there It went …
    :spending:

Then I said, what the heck! V5’s are also available…might as well.:spending:

it's a stocker two door right now. Nothing fancy yet. Lift, Tires, Wheels, Flat fenders, leather, fogs, LED Headlights, etc all start coming together next week. Yes, I'm in it for around $9K in after market stuff already.

Do you have a part number or link for those diodes and are you just splicing it into the supplied harness?

I use these from DelCity: https://www.delcity.net/store/Diodes/p_812046.h_812047

I'm likely going to use the 3 Amp ones as they are not crazy bulky but stronger than the 1A. The 1A are super skinny and I'm not sure I trust them to hold up if they are not super secure. I haven't decided where I'm going to splice in but probably on the VLEDS splitter.

I highly doubt I will have any problems as I tested the Mesos on a battery and both worked perfectly fine, but I figure eh why not.
