Great thread. Its been very helpful. This may be a dumb question... I have a 2020 Auto with a Magnuson Supercharger. Can I simply flash to TSB-0045-21? Then flash the updated supercharger tune file for the updated TSB?

Yes, you flash the file referenced in that TSB, which should update you to 04B82. If that's the same ECU ID that the tune is, you will be good to flash the new tune.

Is that what Maggy uses? Would be interesting if they did.

I didn't think it existed when they built their first set of tunes, and after that I figured they'd basically copy & paste for all other new ECU ID's. This was all an assumption based off of others saying how crappy the tune was.

Just wanted to pop in and say kudos to everyone responsible for this thread, got my tactrix registered yesterday and updated/flashed my ecu today (turns out I've been running 04b01 this whole time :anonymous:) and would not have even been able to think about attempting this without the wealth of knowledge readily available here!

To confirm, I don't need internet connection to do the TSB update, correct?

No. This is an offline thing. Everything posted here is intended to be disconnected from TIS.

1st gen - it's got a built engine, a turbo, and waaaaaaay too much to list. 3rd gen - basic-bitch lift, S/C, Pro Wheels
Turn your internet connection off while using the tech stream software or else it won't work at all.

It depends on the version. V16 thankfully has an Update Later button.

Opinions please. I know I’ve talked with Tony.

But I’ve had two trucks recently that I received error messages to try again not connected to server. This was on 1.14 version

    So after reconnecting it updated.

So I ask is it imperative that WI-FI be off?

On 1.14 or 1.16? Does it hurt to leave on?

    Appreciate all inputs, thanks.

I don't know what version I have but I downloaded it recently and it still prompt me to update. It didn't allowed me to click anything or do anything at all other than to update. I exited out and that was the only way to get the update window to disappear.

I'm no getting ready to do the TSB update so I'll just stay offline just in case.

Likely V14. You don't need to exit TS, just the browser.

Anyone use techstream v17.00.20 from mhh's site? I am getting ready to update to the latest TSB, but have only tested connectivity to pull my current revision using v17. It looks legit with no mods to the file and the install file is digitally signed by Denso Corporation like the v16 download was.

I saw it but have not ran it yet. I usually only update when I find that I need to for support of new MYs. So far, the 2022s are working on the V16 that I have linked in the 1st Post.

IMHO, the files posted on MHH are legit, esp once a decent group gets a chance to test drive them. I do prefer the Activation Key dance over the hacked files.

I agree on the activation key dance being better over hacked files! I'm setting up a whole new laptop, so I'd rather go ahead with v17 and am hoping someone on here has used it already......not sure how I feel about being the first if no one mentions that they have used it for a TSB flash. I had no issues getting the activation key and worse case this weekend I'm going to apply the 4B04 update to my 2016 SR5.
