    :rofl::rofl:

That's one expensive ceramic coat! And why the extra $500?

*update: seller actually replied to my email. They are trying to recoup the 10k mark up, taxes & dealer fee. GLWS buddy!

Is anybody near this that can store or anybody making a trip towards pa for TW express? This is exactly what I've been looking for.

has anyone noticed used Tacoma sales/prices are starting to stall out? i have been on and off looking and i think the $5/gallon gas is catching up to the skyrocketing prices.

I am sure the gas has something to do with it, but I believe it's more folks are just not willing to pay more for a used truck than a new. Not to mention, all the panic buying is probably done as well, and inventories are making a slight gain.

This wasn’t a joke  I’ve been riding my bike to work. Not this week (well, one day) because my hand’s bandaged up thanks to poison ivy, but otherwise it’s 1.5 miles each way, let ‘er rip!

Hopefully back to it next week. Sorting out the less-than-fair-weather stuff for it too.

But yeah, I think with everything: inflation cutting into savings, rents/mortages going up, inventories coming back to normal, gas prices, just gonna be a slow down for pick em up trucks.

if I was 1.5 miles, Id pedal all the time, just because I wouldn't want to start my vehicle and use way too much fuel to travel 1.5 miles every morning and afternoon.

Yeah I actually posted up here how I was looking at EV’s, the commute is short enough that in the winter my temp gauge doesn’t even move from the low. No bueno running an engine and not getting up to temp that often. So I orginally thought about grabbing some smart car BS with a 25 miles range or something. Still a potential but with a bike, we’ll see how the cold works.

Right now it’s fine, just gotta figure out rainier days. I have limits, but I would ride in moderate rain.

    Here’s hoping and congrats!

:spy: I won’t lie, if I was in the market TODAY, I’d be in a second gen frontier with the old VQ40.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
The panic thing happened to all things outdoors. Bikes were almost impossible to buy last year. They are still a little scarce but much better than last year

Go on Facebook. I just got a road bike that was a quarantine special - 100 miles on the thing. I am vaguely looking for a commuter bike and all the ones I see are all "bike has 50 ish miles bought because of covid"

Thanks but not what I'm looking for. I already have a 26 with slicks for now so I have time to be selective. I am looking for a 1 by, disc brake, rigid, 700c. Most likely won't find a 1 by but I need to find a flat bar disc brake hybrid bike that isn't like 2 grand haha. But, like I said I have time to take it slow and wait. If it ain't right it ain't right.

Oof. Yeah. See, I am NOT the gate keeping type. I love bringing newbies to things. Mountain bikes, hikes, kayaking, whatever. I don't do group road bike rides because never again, but otherwise I am the farthest thing from gate keeping in the world for newbies to come do stuff in the nature. But God was that rough. So many new people at the same time, but the worst part was nobody looked for guidance because it was dangerous to talk to people (apparently) so you just had newbies on MTB trails going the wrong way, newbies wheeling who would over estimated their abilities or their vehicle and got stuck, ruined trails, and got a ton closed. You had newbie hikers falling and getting injured, and the worst of it was so many of these people, if they stopped for a second and talked to anyone, hell even ME, a rookie on all those things, all their pain and suffering, and general public displeasure about public access closures could have been avoided.

I love bringing newbies and talking to newbies. Not the covid wave though.

You also got a bunch of people with a sense of superiority because they had been riding for 3 months longer in the pandemic like "oh you're JUST getting started I've been doing this for 5 months" - meanwhile I'm sitting there with like 20 years of nearly daily riding bikes having to be quiet and not call them on their BS.

    Anyway. GOOOOOOOOD MORNING FART SACKS!

Hate that gate keeper stuff. See it too often in the music world too. Like "name 3 songs"
