Those giant fiberglass people are known as rhetoric "Farnham Colossi" in Unger, WV. I've visited them a few times on some rallies.

I'll have to take a couple pics of the inside of my trunk lid. Actually the outside now too.

They're called "Muffler Men" They used to be found outside muffler shops holding a giant muffler. At one time there were hundreds if not a few thousand of these all over the US. Now most have been repurposed and reconfigured and are fairly hard to find. One of my Iron Butt certificates was for completing a Mufflerman 1000 event set up by an IBR finisher I know.

Parts are slowing coming in for the ktm. Got the bmc air filter in today. Got a notification for the lower cowl that it has been shipped.
Now waiting for the slip on exhaust and decat mid pipe.
Also put on roughly 160mi on the bike on Saturday. Didn't ride Sunday or Monday tho. Been struggling with massive migraines.

I was looking for a new one but I wasn't able to locate on anywhere near me. I ended up buying this one from a chick at one of the dealerships that I had called while looking. It is a beast. Torque for days!!

Sorry about the migraines. I dont know much about them as I never really had one.
I have also ordered and received a few parts. Very exciting for sure. It’s really an addictive game.

Get yourself on a BMW 1250 and talk about torque for days. Doesn't matter what gear or RPM, just twist the throttle and it goes.

I've ridden them and they are absolute monsters but for my purposes a bit heavy plus I like the low tech of the XR. Bullet proof and easy to work on.

In my continuous cope of not having the scratch for an ADV bike yet, I added some DIY pannier cases on the duke. Had to swap to a yoshimura tidy tail from the one I had cuz the turn signals got in the way of the rack.

KTM powerparts luggage rack and 2 Harbor Freight Apache cases plus some hardware from home depot and Im good to go! Perfect size to jam my fly fishing kit in, as well as can pull grocery getter duty.

Looks good, I used the same cases for my 750GS as well. One was on my 1250R as a top case until just recently when I replaced it with a better looking SW Motech case.

Thanks! It'll do the job for this season. I plan to swap this bike for a Norden 901 in the spring.
