I'm good at hiding the mess, or quickly straiten up a spot

I'm interested in alot of the old stuff. Seems nobody is now adays. My grandparents house on my dads side everything went up for sale recently since both their passing earlier on in this year, but nobody seemed to touch the old tool box much. Grandfather was a lawn mower mechanic on the side, so I got a couple odd an end tools for mower repair with that box. I didn't want anything out of the whole ordeal, but my aunt and uncle pretty much forced me to take it. Said he would have wanted me to have it. I'll definitely put it to use...

    Never have too many toolboxes!

Good days, less than $40 for a full service -- I see Kohler service kits in TSC in the $50+ range.

That tool box looks an awful lot like the one I grabbed from my dad when he moved.

Yea I set it right beside my other one. It will stay with me till however long I live. I still need to go through it and separate what is good an not. There are probably gonna be some things that will need tossing, mother doesn't want me to throw a thing away, but there's some times where junk is junk. Looks mostly like useful stuff though. The oil filter tools and clamp in there have already been worth it.

Talking about digging through the trash I'm planning on making a makeshift deck for my camp out of pallets, just gotta find the pallets first and then have the timeo_O. Just so we'll have a place to stand and cook outside and still be fairly dry if theres a gal dern gullywasher come through.

I bought my vice from a feller off craigslist and I'll link him if I can find it- he had brand new collector Snapon boxes collecting dust, some worth big money, some of the huge boxes with brakes and struts, I'd say he had 100k in tool boxes alone if they were a dollar. He's just a mechanic that works out of his house that has a real box accumulator issue.

Good morning friends! Have an awesome day :hattip:

My mom sent me a message yesterday evening and said my brother is having eye surgery again Thursday, this time it’s more extensive and he’ll be out of work for a month maybe more. I’m assuming it’s from the detached retina surgery he had twice in less than a year.

We aren’t close like we used to be but I sent him a message :pout:

Hi and goodmorning crew. Jeesh, sorry about that close call on the road Shane. Good thing you were paying attention.
I got busy in the shop yesterday at work, then went home and took 2 gutter downspout off and unclog them. One of the spouts drains into a tube that goes out about 50+ feet and into the ditch. That particular one was extremely plugged. Lucky for me the wife come home and help me. She was able to fit her hand and arm far enough to pull the mess out...it was a bunch. Flows great again.
Then I went to bed...7:30 ish :bananadead:

Sadie made my old heart ache yesterday evening. We went to daddy daughter dance practice and we saw one of the girls from her hip hop class leaving another class she takes. Sadie told me that little girl can't do the daddy daughter dance. I ask why not, she said she doesn't have a daddy, she was born without one. I said did you ask her? She said yes.

I told my wife that last night and she said she talked to her mom last week when they were taking pictures and she didn't get pictures made cause they weren't in the budget. I sure wish we would have known that before picture day.

My wife got this one of them with her phone.

Yeah Shane, that's a bummer about the little girl with no father and unable to afford pictures. Make one thankful for our blessings.
We have pictures all through K-12th grade my daughter's dance class. I would have the same feelings as you.
If they haven't had the recital yet, you might see that little girl gets a bouquet of flowers. That would be special.
