Even if they’re cheapo you’ll prolly be fine just with pistol calibers. I have some swinging targets I made out of mild steel in college when I had access to a CNC plasma cutter and they’ve held up to over a decade of 22lr, 9mm, and .45 just fine with no pitting or holes.

The only thing I’ve shot at it that surprised me and dinged it was 17HMR. That target doesn’t see rifles because I know better but One buddy in school that made them with me shot his 30-06 at the same targets at 100 yards when we first made them. It just punched nice holes straight through it.

I abuse the hell out of my AR500 gongs though and shoot them at as little as 30 yards with my AR and AK with no issues.

nice 10/22, looks like the precision version of mine. My suppressor is still in jail… 97 days on my eform4.

Automata Módosított Deszant 1965/ Automatic Modified Paratrooper 1965

Hungarian 12” barrel, dual pistol grip, side folding paratrooper AK variant.

It’s alittle ugly but so much fun. It’s hilariously the epitome of Soviet design. The front pistol grip is just a rear flipped around and since it’s a paratrooper model the muzzle brake is designed to be extra loud so it sounds like there’s more troops in the area than there actually are.

Very true! Might look into a ruger luger, but we'll see. Next gun purchase won't be for awhile

 

The ruger Mark series pistols are a ton of fun! I love my Mark IV.

If I were in the pistol market right now I’d take a serious look at the new Sig P322. I’ll prolly get one eventually, 20 round mags would be dope.

 

That Sig looks interesting. I also really like the PPQs, gotta shoot decent ammo out of them though (cci), the cheap shit is all over the place with pistols.
