It would probably be fine for 95% of what I do. I actually wouldn't mind something like that for a second vehicle.

Ok. I know it's going to be a good crowd. We're going to focus more on the technical areas, I think. Most of the Pipeline is easy. But, there's a few spots that are interesting. Plus, the Wisconsin crew is just fun to hang out with.

 

I most likely will only be camping Friday night and leave Saturday after the trails. I can get there Friday morning also. Hope you can make it work out!

 

Haven't poked my head in here for a bit but June is out for me I have a Daughter getting married and one Graduating so no time. But Tigerton might work need to check with CFO first. Actually, my CFO (Wife) may want to come along.

 

If you come to Tigerton bring the wife. Mine will be coming along.

 

Just wanted to say that Wives/SO's, kids are always welcome! These shenanigans are family friendly. I'll even try to watch my language around the kids.

 

I'm trying to talk my son into coming along. He's 24 and has heard his mother say sh$t that would make a sailor blush. He's been up that way before, we tried to get to Butler Rock once but I couldn't find the right trail. Things look different than they did 40 years ago.

edit: I plan on getting up there early Sat and will head back sometime in the evening.

 

There's a very large, steep rock somewhere I found in 2018, but I can't seem to find it again. I'm hoping to find it this year.

Butler Rock is huge, about 30' tall, covers 3-5 acres. From up top, you can see a looooong way. We used to climb it on dirty bikes, occasionally someone would try with a truck or Jeep. Most didn't make it.

 

I think I have seen it on aerial photos. It's not the one that I was thinking about though. The one I found was somewhere along the main drag (55552). I had a video from the section it was in from back when I had the Tacoma. I just don't know where the dang video is.

 

You don’t record your track?? Rookie mistake

 

It really was a rookie mistake. That was my first or second ever off-road trip.

But, no, I don't record my tracks. I usually just drop a pin and label things that I want to remember.

 

My plan is two come up Friday morning.
Probably head home Saturday evening. The wife leaves for Minneapolis Sunday morning for a week. I think she'll like it if I'm home to see her off.

 

I just found out early this morning that I will not be making it. Hope you all have fun and look forward to the pictures.
