Some sites/studies say it’ll come back in time as your body starts to produce on its own again but not sure how long that takes.

I’m enjoying the use and don’t have any plans on stopping anytime soon so it’s not much of a worry.

I can confirm this correct. Pretty much all of your hormones function off of a negative feedback loop. If you’re supplementing with exogenous testosterone (supernatural levels at that) then your body will detect that there is already an adequate amount of testosterone and shut down production, leading to atrophy of the gonad producing tissues, testes in this case.

In reference to coming off test, most people are able to bounce back without issue, though it can be rough physically and mentally. The most common way around this is to follow a “post cycle therapy” protocol. Essentially a 12 week cycle of HCG and Clomid to give you boost in the right direction and avoid the worst part of recovering from a testosterone crash. At that point your FSH and LH should have recovered and keep you moving in the right direction.

Have you ran a real ‘cycle’ yet?

I don’t have immediate plans to get crazy with it. Especially with my lifts all still progressing Damn near liner and everything is feeling good BUT, I have wondered what a true cycle feels like.

like was does 400mg’s for 8 weeks feel like? And how hard is the come down back to 200mg’s.

I know some bodybuilders run crazy numbers like 750mg’s and up. But I just wonder how it feels to be running a stupid amount lol

I’m still natural at this point, I couldn’t tell ya. The only reason I know anything about this is because my gym is dominated by strength athletes and a majority of the membership uses something or another, including the coaches/trainers who are all extremely open about it. A few very close friends were also experimenting with TRT that I experienced vicariously. That coupled with some medical schooling and my own curiosity I ask the guys/gals at my gym a lot of questions haha.

It feels great, and the hardest part of coming back down is mental. Like your lifts and size suffer and that's hard to manage. I would advise running as little as you can get away with.

I'm on HRT now... 100 Cyp, 60 Deca (for my joints). I've scaled back volume and chasing the super heavy weights, but because of all of the years doing that it's pretty easy to maintain a 'look' I like and a good base of strength. The thing I found with HRT is that it's like year 2 where the real magic happens....

And I say HRT but my numbers are slightly higher than the normal range...I keep adjusting down but I'm going to need smaller pins lol....

Vitamin shoppe has 20% off Optimum Gold Standard Whey Protein products maybe other stuff too…
If buy two 5lbs a month like I typically do
with the 20% off you’ll save $9.00 going with the 10 lb bag. Which I believe comes out to $111.00. Not bad for 5 servings of protein powder a day for 30 days (my routine, will obviously stretch longer if that’s your wish).

5 protein shakes a day? Are you on a liquid diet?

Lol, no and to be fair I average 4 protein shakes a day simply to supplement my protein intake. I’m not the best at maintaining a solid 3 to 5 whole food meals a day. I get in around three and while they are healthy, it’s difficult for me to squeeze in the required protein that is required to maintain my level of fitness and activity level…

So do you have to do that now because of years of running gear?

Curious if that's kind of the long term trade off risk for some.

No...I never ran gear that high and for that long. You can get a lot out of a little with patience and hard work. My natural levels are fine, but I prefer optimal. The risks are low and the benefits are high for me...I'd be fine off though.

It is absolutely a risk for some though...typically those running really high amounts for a long time.

Damn. Mind if I ask what your weight and daily intake is and all that jazz? I drink 2-3 a day max and even that gets annoying lol.

so you used to be a bodybuilder or what? And have you tried tren?

I’m in the same position to start.
My levels were ‘acceptable’ at 500-550 but why be average when you can be better?

also if you pinned yourself, I give you major props lol. I fcking hate needles. The wife does mine for me once a week
