For me the perfect taco would be an Off-Road with a hood scoop! ((NOT the Pro))
I didn't want the moon roof! So the Pro was off the table!
    But that's just me!
I had the moon roof on my 2018 sport and I hated cleaning the gasket and I never liked using it. (But some people like it?) Looks cool!

For me, the scoop takes away from my view of the road. That's the only reason why I would decline it.
I miss the moonroof on my old ride, but I can live without it.

My decision was made completely on availability. I wanted an Inferno. The time was October 2021. I had to buy used. Off-Roads were available, and in the end, I am glad I got the OR because I like the black front bumper cover, black fender flares, and the matching bumper caps I put on it...

In the end, I am sure I would have been happy with either, provided the color was right...

Agree! Very simple and clean, and works perfect with a lightbar behind it without blocking any light

Only took Toyota 4 years to figure out a nice looking grille, haha!

    Remember the OG cheese greater?

I hated the factory grille too, already had a new one waiting. The day l bought the truck changed the grille as soon as l got home from the dealer, lol.

Man, I proudly rocked the 2016 cheese grater and all the chrome that came with it. It wasnt until I had my 2018 that I got on here and discovered that I was wrong and should be ashamed of all things shiny.

The pro wins:D Its got the scoop, locker and good suspension.

All jokes aside, of course the sport wins.

In this war, no one wins. The battle of jocks against nerds rages eternal.

In the end though, it's always the nerd that gets the girls. Jocks think they have what it takes. The nerd is creative. The nerd listens and observes. The nerd invents what it takes.

    PXL_20220324_232106353~3.jpg

But the war continues on. As it always has, as it shall be.

I recently went from a Sport to OR. The sport felt more street oriented. It felt like it had a stiffer ride. The OR feels softer in comparison on the street. Off road I can not compare yet. The new OR hasn’t gone out yet.

I'm not particularly short (5'10"), but found the scoop reduced my visibility of things near to the front of the truck. I can see the ground in front of the truck closer without the scoop. However, had the OR had the scoop, I still would have bought it

I lost count of the number of times my belt buckle has rubbed against the OR’s (black) fender flares. I would have lots of scratches if the truck was a Sport with its painted fender flares.

I never considered this when buying, but it is an appreciated difference.
