4wd appears to work as intended.
Covered under warranty.
I talked to the service manager and he was decent...but I told him the thing was fucking bullshit in the nicest way possible. He agreed.
Ya can't bullshit a bullshitter. Simple as that.
That being said its time to move the vents high. Very high.

If you're moving stuff up high, @Norilsk did the vent cowl intake mod. Could bring it up in there and bring the air intake all to the same location. If water reaches that, you flooded the cabin

 

Add it to the long list of reasons i never take my shit back to the dealership….

 

I just went in a week ago to price out a carrier bearing. they wanted $400. It's on rock auto for $25.

 

Finally got myself a decent set of radios. Won’t need to bum them off other people anymore

 

Bought an aftermarket one (forget which one), and didn’t last so took it back under warranty. The next one they gave me I filled the holes with silicone (some thread on here about that). Seems to work.

 

Good to know.
I went with the $95 dollar dana one on rockauto, the $25 dollar one had me a bit worried quality wasn't all there.
I did pack it full of grease, I guess we will see what happens. All good so far.

Decent price for anyone looking for a trail jack. Have had good luck with these jackstand bottle jack things.

 

I say it’s a must purchase if you ever plan on using jack while having two trucks holding you via winch line, being at 30 degree angle climb, and you need to change front diff fluid suddenly

 

I feel like you enjoyed this more then I did. You’ll have your time with the new meats though.
