I have Icon Stage 1 coilovers (pictured and Moog LCA's (pictured) with OEM UCA's. After getting everything installed and an alignment done, my alignment has positive camber that is noticeable just by looking at it.

The shop says that positive camber is a good thing but I'm not so sure. I am looking at getting JBA UCA's to freshen that piece up so I'm not pairing new parts and 12 year old parts.

I suppose my question is if positive camber is something I need to worry about and if I buy the JBA's will it fix this issue? I don't have my last alignment printout in front of me but I can post it up once I get it if necessary.

Thank You for any feedback that is provided.

I need a science lesson. I always thought a too-short/not-as-articulated UCA would cause negative camber. :anonymous::anonymous:

Actually, brain fart. I think I thunk myself out of it. If it was too short, it would cause negative camber.

However, I don't think that's the problem with the stock UCA, I think it's limited in articulation at the ball joint. In which case, it would cause positive camber.

I think. Could still be wrong. It took me laying three pencils on my desk to visualize it. :anonymous:

In either case, if you can see the camber, it's too much. Sounds like a better shop is in order. After getting the new UCAs. :D

That makes sense to me. I get free lifetime alignments from Firestone but it seems that the place I normally go to don't really know what they are talking about. I live in SoCal so I'm sure that one of them know what they're doing. I just need to be more specific in requesting someone that is familiar with a truck that's not OEM. Or just find a shop that specialized in it.

With all alignment questions always post your alignment sheet. As I remember the Toyota spec is a bit of positive camber. It’s not zero.

Once I get home I will pull it out of the filing cabinet and take a photo. Thank You for the feedback.
