You just reminded me about a timing light I need to inquire about. Friend told me he'd grab it for me and hold it until our next meet.

 

None. I think the part that seals is the the flare you put in the brake line against the inside of the lspv and against the end of the inside of the nut

I think the hardest part is having the right tool to flare the end

 

if he was HVAC then his diet is probably 99.5% energy drinks so that might explain the smell

I did cut the lines with a pipe cutter so it might not have a perfect edge but I figured it would be close enough
