I am under attack over here as well! Now they are taunting me in broad daylight.

We were going up the driveway the other day and a huge rat ran in front of the car. It either came from the hay field, which I guess isn't unusual, or the car. I'm on the lookout now...:infantry:

When I tore my old shed down there were several under the flooring and I had killed several in the past. With the new shed, I haven't seen any... until now.

They sure do make a mess of things.

Alright fellows, need some advice. Picked up a new to me trailer today, first time owning something this size. Going to probably upgrad my hitch, heard alot of good talk about gen Y hitches. The trailer is 14k GVWR so I'll need something that exceeds that. Any recommendation for straps and binders. Been looking for a car trailer for a while for the right price, so driving home with this behind me put a big smile on my face I know that :D

I can’t help with the hitch but get some grade 80 chain and binders like this for the big stuff

Ratchet straps work too if you can get them heavy enough.

Dude, that isn't funny -- but at the same time it kind of is... :sorry:

TY sir, I need to do some measuring with the kubota and get some chain lengths. Looks like I'll be spending money for a while until I get everything set up for it LOL :anonymous:

Sweet, is that a drop trailer?

I bought all my 80g chains, binders and straps from Northern Tool.

Sticky traps have been working so far. Have caught 6 in the shop. 2 in the GX470, 1 in the Honda Pilot. Need to escalate my tactics though.

I use plaster of paris, backing soda and sugar, mixed together, look for internet recipes and leave it around in small bowls for them to consume. My dogs or farm cats don't even mess with it, but it kills mice and rats and not harmful to your pets.

I had the initial investment shock with chains and binders. I bought all 20’ chains and over time broke 1 down as 10’ was plenty for the front of the machine. Extra chain is heavy and a pain to wrap for travel. Let alone muscle around. buy once cry once. You already shelled out for the orange. A few hundy won’t hurt…..

yeah my buddy got his set up and he said between chain and binders I could expect to spend around $500, so I was already somewhat prepared for that cost haha, still hurts a bit though.

Check local pawn shops for used ones. Unfortunately they do get stolen.

Oh no, I want to know how the chains were used. NEW chains for equipment.
My chains that I use for equipment tie downs don't get used to pull stumps etc,
