Same bolt pattern?

 

Last time I saw this mod, there was a ton of silicone at the bottom left corner where the housing meets the body. I think I see some in the pics, but kudos if you’re happy with it

I give op credit for trying something different. I still think buying 2.5 gen mirrors and adding the spotter mirror kit or similar is a better approach to what people are trying to achieve.

 

No had to drill a new hole up top. I added a YouTube video about it

 

A ton of silicon? The small amount you can't see unless you walk up and look for it? I am happy with it. I just painted them to match. I now have power, Heated mirrors with signals. This post was to help anyone else wanting to do it. Not try to make you happy about a little bit of silicon.

 

This post isn't about trying to make you happy. It's about helping anyone else wanting to add heated, signal, power mirrors to their 2nd gen. I didn't have to add any silicon. But I did add a small amount just in case to keep any moisture out. You literally wouldn't see it unless you tried to find it. Have a good day!
