Funny you say that. I made my utility trailer out of a old boat trailer and bed frames.

I'm still an amateur at it. I want to take a few classes in the future. IMG_20190514_143810.jpg IMG_20200514_143908.jpg

Do you have a community college or trade school nearby?

I think I paid like $350 out of pocket for class + consumables and we covered oxyacetylene, stick, mig, and Tig welding plus plasma and torch cutting. Not too in depth in anything or complex welds like uphill/downhill but lots of focus on just making good puddles on flat positions and joints and basic testing to assure that DIY project welds would be strong enough. It was 4 hours a week for a semester. I liked it. it got me really far for DIY parts and repairs. I spent a summer in a fab shop over 10 years ago but only learned how to draw e's.

That said I'm jealous of what Nelson's learning, he's covered so much more and crushing it in all of those things and is definitely gonna be a pro :D

That's the plan I have looked into a few schools. Western Nevada CC in Carson City offers intro all the way to the top.

30 minutes not to bad. I'm doing a motorcycle training course in there in a month. I need to get my license before summer is over.

Ruh roh, too much highway after sending it a little too much in Arkansas a couple weeks ago. Tires were about done anyway.

I just picked up a new set of KO2s so if I ever get the new rear under the Tacoma I should try and align it for the first time in 10 years :luvya:

With a good alignment those KO2s will last way longer than you want them to.

Hah, my 6.7 can relate. Front end eats tires and the rear end squares them off #torqued :luvya:
